Yeah KC is kind of the opposite of the 2004 Steelers
You're right.

The 2004 Steelers were a 15-1 unstoppable juggernaut who had already smashed the Patriots, and ended their consecutive win streak.

Steelers had a young, mobile flamethrower at qb, offensive weapons all across the board and a top 5 defense with hall of fame talent at every level. Undefeated at home.

So yes, very different. Steelers were a far superior team, much better talent.

LOL that’s right Barbara Bruno. Too funny!

I can see the tumbleweeds on her twitter account when she posts. Lol

I understand what you are saying, but I’d be lying if I said I have even close to as much confidence in this squad that I did with the beasts of the original dynasty.

I think in retrospect, we can say that. But going in to Pittsburgh against a 15-1 team was far from a sure win.

The thing that I remember most about that game was when Cowher chickened out and went with a FG down at the end zone late in the 3rd quarter trailing by two TD's. I can still hear the air coming out of the fans when he did that.

The Pats went down the field after and added their own FG to get the lead back to 14 in the 4th quarter.

I think Cowher learned from that and became more aggressive after that loss.

He came to speak at my job last year as part of our little rah rah fest and that was exactly what he said.

True. But that was a D you could believe was going to make the big play. So many options for the stop.

Wow! That's great to hear. I know we gave him some crap during those years but I always respected him.

How about those Pats though? Words can't describe how great they are.
