Kayshon Boutte: "How The Hell Did I Get Here???"

We could get him in FA: I was pimping him the year we Drafted the Bony Guy.
He is a loser. He will always be a loser. He will only ever play for losers.

You would disqualified all those other guys as #1 for various reasons too in past drafts.

You're right that you're never going to get someone who "on paper" looks like an obvious #1 WR in the 2nd round or later. If they looked obvious on paper as a #1, they wouldn't go in the 2nd round or later. But careers play out wildly different than draft projections a lot of the time, good or bad.

Never in any given year would I bet $1K on any specific WR drafted in round 2 or later being a #1 WR because there wouldn't be a specific player I have confidence in at that projection. But if I could just bet $1K every year that SOMEONE at WR drafted in round 2 or later becomes a #1... I'd probably place that bet every year and come out on top over the long haul because there's usually someone who outplays their projections.

Key is to just scout well and hope you're the team that lands that guy.

I don't disagree with any of this, what I disagreed with was Patsfan2 saying they could just go draft a WR1 in the draft, which clearly implies they would be using their first round pick on a WR, and given where they will be picking I don't see any clear WR 1 available. Could they hit the jackpot later than that, possibly, but they aren't going to get a clear WR 1 unless they are picking top half of the first round, which they aren't doing,

And thank the sweet baby Jesus they didn't take that ****bag. He would never fit in that locker room and would be nothing but problems.

I said Draft a guy with WR #1 upside: they're many guys: you take a chance in Rounds Two or Three ie... Malachi Fields 6-3 225 - Nic Anderson 6-3 220 LSU - Elijah Serratt 6-2 220 Indiana *watch him Tonight* - De'Zhaun Stribling 6-2 200 Ole Miss *played last night* - and Ted Hurst 6-2 185 Georgia State. As you can see I'm going for WR's with Size: Vrabel and Co could land a Day 3 gem like Puka Nacua or Isaac TeSlaa.

No, you didn't.

I D.I.D

Vrabel is a players Coach he can Turn George Pickens into a choir boy. I would love to see some of your faces if that happens: I would pay a king's ransom to watch this movie.

One of the most improved players on the Patriots' roster

We are praising Boutte because he put his past behind him. George Pickens does not get that benefit. Nobody is talking about Diggs past or recent issues. George Pickens does not get that benefit. Everyone has the ability to change and deserve another chance…but not George Pickens.

Zuma as much as BB is the GOAT HC: his Achilles is that he can't Draft WR for ****. He would have the chance to Draft Randy Moss and take Braxton Berrios instead. I can see that Mike Vrabel values the position; so hitting on a player in the Draft or FA is a strong possibility. The bias against certain players on this forum is just ridiculous; because the Patriots didn't Draft them. I mean some of them thought noodle arm Mac Jones was a Franchise QB I Never liked the guy.

Nobody is perfect…we are all human. We make mistakes and hopefully learn from them. We have seen others turn it around…George Pickens does not get that benefit here.

Oh yeah...he's good at football too...

Kayshon Boutte was considered a POS here by some: not even worth a PS spot. Boy how some have changed their tunes: bend with the wind.

IF Vrabel want to get Drake Maye that ^Guy he's there for the taking in FA. But some would probably stop following the Patriots if that happens.

I wanted the Patriots to sign him in the off-season...but now I'm not sure where he fits. If the team is replacing Diggs for legal, age or $ purposes, then I can see it. Mack Hollins will be 33 yo next season. Pickens would upgrade the WR room but why do it now? Their is good chemistry at this point...the WR's are all producing. I'm not a fan of changing the WR room at this point. But I would have been ok with Pickens over Diggs if the team went that route in the last off-season.

George Pickens had one of the Best WR Tapes I have seen from a Prospect. A.J. Brown came a close Second and BB thought otherwise both times. On Paper we have a Letal Schedule next season: playing all Division Winners; a far cry from the sisters of the poor. I'm sure Vrabel and company knows.

We should sign Boney T back in free agency. He wouldn’t be expensive, we can actually block and pass deep now.

He's a me-first loser. Why are you so obsessed with this entitled piece of ****?

Because George Pickens plays a True #1 WR minus his imperfections. CeeDee Lamb is being paid like a #1 nobody can tell me he's better than George Pickens.

Another excellent player comparison Wozzy! Keep 'em coming...
