Julio Jones (June 6 Update - Traded to the Titans)

I think Wilson is more bothered by his OL being kind of **** and their defense being Swiss cheese.
If he’s bothered by his OL, maybe he should quit running around the offensive backfield like an idiot to make the highlight play and step up in the pocket.

I agree it’s partly on him. I’m sure he believes otherwise though.

I call BS because it's a trade, not a free agent. You do the trade first and then he comes to town for the physical and all that stuff.

It was a joke. I know that jokes are supposed to be funny but that was the tweeter’s intention.

There's is so much BS on twitter and so many people claiming to have "sources" that I really can't tell the difference between who is joking and isn't. Call me guilty as charged.

Let's put this back on topic you guys.

From Bleacher Report:
The Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Rams have reportedly removed themselves from the Julio Jones sweepstakes.

Appearing Wednesday morning on Get Up, ESPN NFL insider Kimberley Martin said she knows "for a fact" that the Ravens and Rams are no longer pursuing the Atlanta Falcons wide receiver.

Martin also said she has heard the Tennessee Titans are strong contenders for Jones, adding that most of the people she has spoken with expect Jones will "probably" get traded to Tennessee.

Jeff Schultz of The Athletic recently reported on the Falcons' interest in trading Jones because of their need for salary-cap relief. He is set to make $15.3 million in 2021, and Atlanta has just $588,018 in cap space.

Any direct contact between another team and Julio would be tampering and yeah everyone does it obviously but no one is dumb enough to go in person.
70 30 Titans over Patriots.
I would not give up a first unless a second is coming back.

Boys, I think we should settle on 60/40

The caliber of pick given up is directly related to the type of money that will also have to be given up. I would gladly give up a 2nd - and maybe even a 1st - for a happy, healthy JJ on his current deal. ("Happy" meaning happy with his current deal)

But I don't know if he's healthy, and most reports indicate he sure ain't happy. I wouldn't give up a day 2 pick for Jones given the type of deal I expect he will want.

I agree. I only knew for sure because he stated as much in a follow up tweet.

The same three or four guys every thread. Cut the **** out or leave. The rest of us don’t care anymore.
