Rodgers is the worst kind of mentor for a QB like Punky, who can't resist the urge to ad-lib for the scrambling hero pass. The "wannabe gunslinger" mentality invariably gets him in trouble. Plus, Rodgers is one of the very few NFL quarterbacks able to make bad mechanics work, often throwing from a closed stance off his back foot. Poor mechanics got Punky benched last season. Here's hoping for multiple interceptions vs. Dallas.
