You're wrong there. A healthy individual wouldn't belong to any message boards. Especially one talking about guys running around in tights.

This just so happens to be one of the more entertaining ways to help with boredom while working so damn much.

Honestly I don't know how you guys only chat amongst your own kind. Seems really boring to me. Gotta get some other opinions instead of regurgitating the same BS all the time.
Of course you can't understand chatting amongst your own kind. I can't blame you. Your own kind is a lot different than our own kind though. So much missery has to be avoided. It's some kind of survival thing

This year is going to be a lot less fun because the only way the Jets will crush their fans' dreams this year will be by overachieving and not getting a top 10 pick and they ain't doing that.

Not sure what I am more excited for. Seeing some football perfectly crafted by our 5 time champions, or see the Jets be out of playoff contention 9 weeks into the season.

they drafted so many safeties they needed to change the team anthem....

The nickle package didn't stop Brady. The dime package didn't stop Brady.

So Bowles, during one of his infamous self named movements, thought I'll bet the 11 center package will stop him.

That's right. The 11 center. No that doesn't mean 11 centers. It means 11 safeties on the field.

It's Jete Genius I'll tell yah.

Brady will have to figure out which safety is blitzing. Wowza.

Which safety is the mike? Kablowza.

I'm freaking worried now. Great googly moogly that is going to be one ass rippen defense.

Not this year mind you. Nope. These young safety scrubs are still developing. But according to to the resident Secretin Jete it will be something to see in 2018 or maybe 2019 unless it's during the 2020 season but if not for sure the 2021 season.

Anyways the tables are a turnin. Mark his words.

"Mark" his words?...oh no..you didn't...wait...YOU DID!

Very funny. But you do realize no one is drafting, or otherwise building a young team, to face Brady anymore right?

What's he now... 40? I'm not saying he's done, just that it's time to worry about what's next in the division/league for any young team.

Now if you're talking about a SB contender this year... then yeah, of course you're trying to plan for Tommy. Ha, not exactly a worry for the Jets this season.

All I hear from you is the future man. "The Jets will be this". "Brady retire that". We Patriot fans worry about THIS season. Edelman said it perfectly: "I only care about this season." Bill and Brady agree as well. Quotes like "Not this team" come to mind.

I don't care about some hypothetical future. I care about our next game.

You're definitely in a better spot as a fan. No argument here. But I don't mind where the Jets are now though. It's much better imo than the previous two seasons wasting away trying for mediocrity.

True, Brady has reached the halfway point in his career.

It's almost like you're saying we should have kept Mangold/Revis/Decker/Marshall... just to waste money.
No, we're saying you shouldn't have brought in Marshall/Decker when you weren't two players away from winning, or re-signed Revis to more money and years than the market would bear, and should have let Mangold go a year too early rather than a year too late. You've been seeing the right way to do it for SEVENTEEN YEARS NOW and keep bringing in buffoons like Rex Ryan and John Idzik and Macca to steer the ship. NO EXCUSES!

Well, this time the Jete are gonna get it right. WHY DO YOU THINK THIS? Fifty years of trying should give you a clue. The Jete have a pud-head silver-spoon owner and an unknown as a GM and a cast of NJFL slime in the front office. They openly admit they're gonna suck this year and the way forward is to win big in the draft lotto. As another poster pointed out, THAT'S THE BROWNS STRATEGY! Well, it would be, if the Jete had hoarded draft choices and had cleared the salary cap years ago like the Browns did, but no, the Jete didn't. They are going down this path because they simply don't know what else to try. It guarantees you will suck this year and at least one more year after that, and given the odds at the Jete selecting the right players, far beyond that. You know that Woody ain't gonna put up for this all that long. We're gonna see a whole new cast of 'name' players being brought in to try to make a splash on the back pages and get those unsold PSLs sold. You can count on it.

And what about Blowes? He hasn't shown anything that resembles leadership. His slime front office cuts Harris during an OTA session right before Blowes has a scheduled press conference, and it's Blowes that gets blasted by the press! He's being set up to fail, but that's the NJFL Jete Way. SLIME GREEN SUCKAGE! Odds of Blowes lasting the season are low, odds of him lasting the next off season are nil, and then it's time for whatever players still sticking around to learn a new system. Basically, the Jete are Browns wannabes!

Your team and fan base has been saying "Wait 'til next year!" for nearly 50 years. The big difference THIS year is they've begun saying it BEFORE the season begins. That's progress and acceptance of reality, especially with the off-season being Jete fans' favorite time of year. But now, according to your fortune-telling 8-ball, after a half-century team management (Three Stooges Woody, Cromagnon & Toilet Bowles) FINALLY has figured out how to rebuild: use the Cleveland Browns as a template and pray for a savior QB to materialize.

The other part of this fantasy is that the Patriots will fall off a cliff once Brady retires, another false assumption. I refer you to how the Patriots have performed WITHOUT Brady -- they keep winning because football is a TEAM game and he Patriots have a WINNING culture. The Jete have a LOSING culture headed by an owner whose priorities are elsewhere.

Jete beat writer Cimini nailed it: the biggest thing the Jete fans are looking forward to in the 2017-8 season is the 2018 NFL Draft!

JeteFan69 somehow thinks that the guy that sends Chandler Jones packing and refuses the first pick in the draft and much more for Jimmy G doesn't have a plan. Lord knows what will happen, but to think BB won't be prepared is ludicrous.

Same guy thinks Woody + Cacca + Blowes are gonna draft the next Brady and put the right pieces around him -- even more ludicrous. I suppose eventually a monkey could walk up to a piano and belt out Beethoven but I wouldn't bet on it.

Let's give them some credit, the J-E-T-E-S are rebuilding , and if everything goes right they can be dreaming of mediocrity again in a few short years.

Wrong again. I'm not worried when Brady decides to hang them up. The Patriots have a top notch Front Office, GM and coaching staff.

Do you honestly think BB will have a basement dwelling team? Do I expect to go to seemingly every AFC Championship game after Brady hangs them up? No. But I do expect the Pats to be a playoff contending team.

Do you trust your team of gob slobbers to develop the next QB let alone rebuild an entire team? Hahahaha

Even if Hack was the next potential Brady would you ever know?

I'd bet that Hack under BB and crew would win at least twice as many games as he ever will under that joke of a team.

Have the Jetes contacted Jeff Fisher yet? He's great with young QB's.

Yeah, it's great to spend a season in total misery so you can realize how nice it was to be mediocre. Goofball.

Last season was misery. This season is gonna be fun.
