We're the Yankees of the NFL.

The Yanks dumped a bunch of expensive vets and played the young guys. Exactly what we're doing.

Who knows, maybe 2/3s of the way through the season the Jets will surprise and be in front of a NE team as well.

Well don't forget, option #1 is Hack or Petty turns out to be good. Odds of that, admittedly, are slim though.

However I will say reports on Hack have been good this summer. Day 1 of camp too. And these reports come from some of the worst "reporters" out there. Guys who look to tear the Jets apart for any reason.

So just as with the Safeties, LBs, WRs, oline... QB will be a fun position to see young guys develop.
