Jets Suck -- 2017 Edition (Official): Countdown to Oblivion

What I love is that not matter who they draft, JEST/JETE fans try to tear off their own faces in either anguish or joy at the pick, every damn time. Other fans are always putting thumbs up or down, laughing, wearing a two-beer-helmet thingie... only JEST/JETE fans think so often that a pick is the Dawn Of a New Age or the End of All That is Good and Holy.

It's remarkable that they can do that whilst spending two high round picks on safeties to replace a safety they drafted only two years ago. No wonder that team never gets any better.

Was this truth a double entendre? :eek:o_O

The quote above it was taken from the first line of the post on some greenbeans forum or some article in the online greenbean press...

So it might not be, intentionally, in the original. I just call em as I see em.

Paging Dr. Freud...

Drats... if only there was something current in the news, as well as historically suggested (i.e. known), I could use against NE area fans as a fun comeback.

Gimme some time. I'm sure I'll think of something. ;)

"think"? You don't possess that requisite attribute.

The Jetes are unveiling a new mascot this year: Swampy.

Some psychologists see all creative expression, from half-mile-tall buildings to the merest graffiti on a subway, to be oriented toward somehow attracting the opposite sex. The long history of the love lives of poets should suffice to put this theory to rest. On the other hand, all creative expression might truly be a continuous refinement of disdain for the flaws in the world as we find it, and replacement of that flawed world with a better world, if on only through art.

This second theory finds its finest expression through the denigration of the JEST/JETE

From-the-podium buttfumble.

These guys are the gift that keeps on giving.

Jete's Christ man. You've been fire for the last couple of days.

Very last thing I wanna do is be thinking of JETE procreating...

Yeah we've gone down a very dark path here, or more likely sewer... sorry, but it's a bell that we cannot unring.

That said, I think the life-cycle of the JETE might be less benign, and involve a queen, an egg-chamber, and a specific form of JETE fan known colloquially as a "face hugger."

Ever wonder what happened to Chad Pennington that made it necessary to finally trade him?
