It's called suckage entanglement. Seemingly faster than the speed of light, the JEST can communicate suckage across vast areas, as if they are in communication (or could somehow interpret communications if they were sent) faster than the speed of light. Importantly, scientists say there must be some other mechanism at play, an underlying field of suckage that only manifests in the simultaneous suckage in entangled JEST fans.
