The hope is that he had flashes as a rookie and will improve. That’s a promising group right there. I think a lot of fans are forgetting how good Wino was

OLB Chase Winovich
ILB Dont’a Hightower
ILB Ja’Whaun Bentley
OLB John Simon
The pats have had worse LB groups (2017, arguably 2018) & could probably manage considering they play so many DBs. A need for sure though.
Oh, no. Not at all. I would never try to guess what his plans are. I’m just of the mind that we should see what value is out there. HT is still a clutch, solid veteran player for us but he lacks athleticism, is going to be another year older and we could free up his cap space. Just seeing these sub-par to par LB’s cash in has me wondering if we can’t get a second back and roll with what we’ve got along with some draft picks/lower tier FA p/u’s.You think BB is unloading High?
Fat Matt was their D coordinator here. Same with Flores signing Van Noy in Miami. This happens all the time; coaches bring in players they like. BB brought in a few Jets when he got here. What's with the Lions and Patriots players and staff? I don't get the connection.
And now you've got the Dolphins making a pitch at Brady...
Oh, hell, you might as well take ol' Krafty and Gilette Stadium itself and call yourselves the Detroit and Miami Patriots, at this point.
I think he has potential but there were a few plays he made where he was simply just let to run free. I would like to see a cheaper mid tier veteran brought in to compete with Winovich for snaps. He had his moments, but let’s not overstate it. Where's the love for Elandon: FB, LB, team captain. @ashley1992 's favorite LB.
He's a terrible linebacker and whenever he's on the field I know we'll get run all over us or repeatedly torched on passing. He's like when JRichards played here at safety. I'm sure he's an awesome special teams player and team guy who stepped in at FB but he's terrible at defensive linebacker
