Yep. The Patriots front office has a plan, they aren't doing **** blindly. And I agree with the poster who said Buffalo made the deal for Moore because they think Pierce is headed to the Patriots. I think Chism is going to be their slot receiver, and Pierce and Williams their deep threats. If that's how this goes down they will have a good overall unit, with Chism and Douglass in the slot, Hollins and Boutte possession receivers, and Williams and Pierce their deep threats.
Plus a draft pick please.
Lots of intriguing options that will be available rds 2-7.

"Massive" new weapon is certainly...one of the choices of words of all time.
I could see them Selecting a WR their First Round Selection: they're in that sweet spot.

-The move makes the Bills better in 2026. It does reduce their flexibility a bit in 2027 and 2028. Guaranteeing that money in 2028 didn't make any sense.
-He's better than any WR not named Shakir on their team now.
-As a Pats fan I'm not happy they got better at receiver.
-As a Pats fan I am happy and shocked Bills fans seem indifferent to losing the only 2 good Offensive lineman they had. They seem to think they can replace those guys easily. I think Allen might be running for his life. I saw what pressure can do to an offense in the playoffs. Patriots defensive pressure and the pressure on Maye was the difference in all those games.

Moore is a good player and BIF got better. At the end of the day though I expected them to spend some money on talent and use their picks to add talent. That's what all teams do. I think the talent added is less than they could have gotten for that combo of pick and money, so I'm ok with them doing this as an opponent fan.

Good news for us, takes them out of the other top WRs I prefer.

Economics aside, they are better today than they were yesterday.
Is Moore a bonafide #1, probably not.
Does he make that WR corp better, absolutely.
Did they overpay, TBD but probably yes.
Just like us, FA and the draft is a sum game that shouldn’t be judged on one move.
I’m sure they aren’t done adding WRs.

Problem is the rock-head they have at QB running the entire show.

Looks like the Bills were able to keep the center. It looks like they’ll still lose their starting guard.
I’m assuming a Josh Allen restructure is coming to free up cap space

That's too bad.

People tend to forget that it wasn't quite the offense that was letting them down, their defense didn't scare anyone and was average. They were one of the top pass defenses because they couldn't stop the run so opponents attacked mostly on the ground which boosted their pass D stats. Overall their defense was their weakness and they haven't done much to improve it. Yeah they'll have draft picks but how often do rookies come in on defense and make a sizable impact? Not often at all.

Allen often has to put the team on his back and win the game. He needs WR weapons, and OL protection. It really is that simple.

Sure, the team needs to get help on Defense. I suspect that it will. Free agency has yeat to begin.
