I don't go to other sites very often,but I've been to Indystar a few times . The most ridicules thread I've ever seen was posted. It had to do with the worship of Peyton Manning. You could only post about how great PM was/is. Posters talked about naming their kids after Payton like they did in Tenn. when he went to school there. When someone broke in and tried to start a debat about QB's he was told that the thread was about how great PM was and the was no debating QB's. If he didn't throw himself on the alter of Peyton worship he should leave. It was nothing but a Peyton love fest ***********. Totaly pathetic.

It's not as if people here don't get just as loopy....

No this was WAY beyond what goes on here. No after reading the link not close. And most of those were just screwing around trying to one up the last guy.

Wow.. some of the fans are really crazy for their QB.. admire the man's skill and talent... that's understandable. But "man love" ? That's beyond loopy ... If I were TB, I would keep a distance from most fans.

To say that Pats fans engage in the same hero worship is absolutely wrong. In fact, we are more critical of our team than anyother fans. Players have actually complained about that in the past.

The hero worship that goes on at INDYSTAR is laughable. A few superstars over there are Jules, AlbanyEd, and INDY####. Can't remember his name.

Fawning would be a compliment. When Manning had that 6 INT game, you would have thought he saved Mother Theresa of Calcutta.

Hero, they called him. Uh, hello, he had 6 INTs that directly led to them losing. They don't want to hear that though. That would get you banned.

Yes norm it was jules who had the reason the steelers would win is because jacksonville had not been to the playoffs a few years in a row. So im here watching the jags roll the steelers badly and can't wait until its over so i can ask her what happened. I just looked and she has posted on a jags@steelers thread like fifty times allready. She starts out bold in the start of the thread now that the game has moved forward she is starting the excuses. LMAO!

I couldn't agree with you more. I got banned three times and then for life. They claim because I called Dungy a dung beetle who couldn't go 16-0. This was in a thread where they were ripping BB to shreds.

Really, whenever I see Belicheat I retort with "TINY DINGY" when refering to Tony Dungy and haven't gotten banned yet. I'll try Tony Dung beetle some time and se what happens

Things get crazy on that board sometimes, somebody started a thread that said Brady didn't deserve the MVP, most of the Colts fans including me didn't agree with this idiot, it was a poll and 75% so far agree Brady deserves the MVP, it should be 100% but some people just won't give credit where credit is due and how any football fan of any team would think that Brady didn't deserve the MVP this year knows nothing about football IMHO.

I saw that thread and like you said, most agree that Brady should have won MVP. But theres a few that are over the top haters. But as a level headed Pats fan, I always get a good chuckle over there.

There's even a few rabid haters that constantly claim Tedy Bruschi is on steroids
