The Pats may have dodged a bullet by not giving Jackson a long term deal. He didn't play well when he did play this year (although he might have been playing injured) and is on IR and now in the hoosegow.

Reports are that Jackson was arrested on nonviolent charges.

Did he not pay child care? He's in Massachusetts.

Did he refuse to leave the person's house?

Is a threat violent? What could he have done???

From the article it appears he was in a probate court appearance, meaning maybe child support or someone died and they are trying to figure out the will.

The most logical reason he was sent to jail is that he was found in contempt of court, either by his actions in court or lack of payment of some kind.

I'm in the "Time for Bill to go camp" because of dysfunction as evidenced by my sig. I used to have Shula since that bogus record of combined playoffs/reg season wins seems so important to Bill. I had to change it for the schadenfreude that one play represents.
