Honestly, I'm really torn about this one. I readily admit our cap space would probably be better spent on positions of far greater need than the WR position. For example, I did or still do truly believe that Belichick has something else (or someone else) in mind for the CB position.
That said, we all witnessed the joy of watching what Brady could do to the record books when he had an elite wide receiver to throw to. And it was all the sweeter because it was in the aftermath of CameraPlacementGate.
Maybe the best FU Belichick could give the League is if he buys Brady a weapon and unleashes him on the League.
I'm not saying it's the best path to the Super Bowl, but there's something about the idea that really appeals to me right now.
