I'm interested. But I'm worried that knowing Hall he'll want to demand a contract that overpays him. If so, then forget it.

Hall, 29, was acquired by the team in 2008 after being released by the Raiders. According to Pro Football Focus, he was one of only two defensive backs to allow more than 1,000 receiving yards last season in the NFL
Hall has always been known as a cheater, but if accurate this is worse than Asante. No thanks. Talib is looking better and better...
Redskins cut DeAngelo Hall to clear cap space

Beanie Wells‘ days in Arizona are coming to an end.
Wells, a running back who is only a year removed from a 1,000-yard rushing season with the Cardinals, wrote on Twitter Monday afternoon that the team had informed him he was going to be released.
Somewhat intrigued. On a day in which we've seen two WRs dealt -Percy Harvin and Anquan Boldin - the Bucs are shopping another, 2010 2nd rnd pick Arrelious Benn
"Bedard also thinks the Patriots will be bidders for corners like Nnamdi Asomugha, Cary Williams, Keenan Lewis and Brice McCain if they are able to secure Talib’s return." Per PFT
Not an unrealistic chance Dennard would be our slot receiver in the future. I like Kyle Arrington as CB #4
Somewhat intrigued.
If you're talking about a one year deal worth about 5.75 million, then yeah---Talib is looking fine.
Otherwise I would implore you to check out his injury history and how both of his 2010 and 2011 season ending IR injuries carried over to all of his missed time here during the end of the 2012 season (hip/hamstring).
26 missed games in 5 yrs is nothing to take lightly, and that is just the tip of the iceburg with this guy's concerns. I have a feeling many of us would be let down next season. That said, I'll be happy with a reasonable deal still.

With every alternative to Talib that hits the market, Talib and his problems look worse, in terms of a need to target him specifically and pay out big coin for him. .
At this point, the idea of a low offer for him that allows for other vet CBs/DEs/Ss to be added, or moving on with other options, is looking pretty darned good.
Benn hasn't had more than 450 yards receiving in a season. I like his skillset, but I can't see anyone offering more than a 7th rounder for him.
I kind of disagree with you there, Doc. Arrington is definitely best used in the slot. He was one of the reasons why we saw an improvement in the secondary last season, and he also held Cruz to 24 total yds in the SB loss (with a bracket scheme helping hm).
On top of that, Dennard has proven that he can play effectively on the outside in only his rookie year. There's not much reason to move him around.
The only way I could envision what you're suggesting is if Ras-I-Dowling stayed healthy and looked very good during TC. In that case he would compete for outside starting reps with Dennard potentially. Either way, I still envision Arrington in the slot if he stays, and I think that was the idea the whole time when Dowling was selected. Unfortunately, it did not work out as often as they'd have liked due to Dowling's injury.
I agree all options should be explored but as I stated in an earlier post, I think making an offer to Talib -with certain contingencies is the most prudent approach.
