I know he doesn't fit that 3-4 scheme perfectly but he is probably the best DT available right now.

My guy instinct is that the knee isn't ready to go full time.
I think he will retire or sit out a few months to rehab.
Didn't he show up an hour late for practice last week?

Dallas cut DE/LB Martez Wilson. Given the pitiful state of their defense, that's not very encouraging. A 6'4" 250# guy with 4.42 speed who has never had the effort or work ethic needed to succeed. A classic "looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane" guy. As much as the Pats could use some depth at LB, I doubt Wilson is even worth a look. IIRC, they did have him in for a visit in 2011 prior to the draft.
