Matt Patricia is my favorite coordinator/coach in all of football at this moment in time.

He's just a football guy all around, and I'm never disappointed with his defensive schemes even if they don't work. He's a proven defensive mind-- remember when Bill got here he was the same as Matt, a brilliant defensive coach.

I think that transition would be pretty seemless, and he seems less of a madonna than Josh. I prefer tough, nose to the ground guys and Matt is it.

I even wear my Pats hat backwards when we're on defense (part of my superstitious rituals; I wear it frontways for Josh on O) out of my admiration for the guy.

As per yesterday's game thread , we want both gone including our new Oline coach.

Pretty simple - if you could corner either Patricia or McDaniels and promise them the HC job of what is currently the most prestigious franchise in the NFL - who would you pick and why?

Personally, I have changed my tune and am leaning towards hoping we keep Matty P the most. I think the transition from Belichick to him would be the smoothest, Josh's HC experience in Denver notwithstanding.

It's always been Matt P for me since last season. I feel he approaches the game in the same cerebral, analytical, emotionless way that Darth Belechick does. In contrast to BB he does seem to have more of an emotional connection to the players.
But this poll has been crushed by the performance by the O in the last few games.

McDaniels. How people forget that they used to call for Patricia's head back before he had the horses to run the scheme. McDaniels lost the horses to run his effectively this season but he's helped to guide some of the more potent offenses in NFL history including one that rang up points like a pinball machine last season en route to a Lombardi. Brady loves the guy and doesn't seem to want to lose him. People also forget that they wanted him back in a bad way after he left for Denver and Bill O'Brien came in and called a Kevin Faulk draw 500 times a game.

If Josh calls that useless wide receiver screen to LaFell again, I'm quitting football.
And I like Josh as our OC.
