That would be really cool though!
He didn’t magically appear from the mist like Excalibur.
"Listen, strange owners lyin' in ponds distributin' Head Coaches is no basis for a system of NFL Super Bowls. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the forums, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony."

Camp starts in a week and you are recycling the same “BB sucks” blather you guys trade in year round.

It’s all you talk about, why you needed your own TBTom forum, because everyone else wanted to talk about this team.
Bullsh*t. It is the haters who bring up and talk about Tom way more than the supporters.

You guys have pushed a thread about a player we all knew was going to be cut or traded before this offseason began to 20 pages of btching and moaning…

Nobody hates Tom Brady, he’s the most beloved athlete in New England history. The way you guys tilt against windmills and fight invisible enemies is hilarious.

Persecution complex much?

So please tell me what we should be talking about Mr. Patsfans overlord?

Yea we really are in the Pats news doldrums when there are 20 pages of discussion over a traded, failed late 1st rd draft pick which we all saw coming over a year ago (if not longer)

This is a thread that had it happened week 4 of the season it goes about 5-6 pages before all the threads about the next game bury it. When it happens in mid-July when nothing else is going on it goes much longer. I don't know about anyone else but I would rather have a discussion that some people hate than no discussion at all.

Agree. Some topics are just beat to death (which is what ~8 pages of so encompass)

I did a breakdown of Bill's history of drafting WR's since his time and NE a while ago and it's pretty overblown how bad he is. The average round he took a WR was in the 4th or 5th round. In fact, he didn't even average drafting one WR per year. And prior to Thornton, Bill only drafted 7 WR's in the first 3 rounds in 20 years. Bill just didn't put a lot of emphasis in drafting WR's, but struck out badly when he did within the first 3 rounds.

Now if people wanted to make the argument that Bill didn't do a good enough job investing in that position via the draft, then they'd have a case.

How did he do with Cleveland?

Real Patriots fans made their stance known when Tampa came to play last season.
Real Patriots fans are not what you define them to be much as the Legion of BB defenders claim absolute authority on this matter. Just cos you say it, doesn't make it so.

Oh you criticized BB's drafting, you're not a real Patriot fan, is not a logical argument. It's circular nonsense logic.

The fact remains that N'Keal Harry is BB's greatest draft failure. BB hasn't drafted a pro bowl talent since Donta Hightower in 2012 and now Mac Jones in 2021. And the man who stacked the draft board for the 2021 draft, Dave Ziegler, has left for the Raiders to join Josh McDaniels.

These are all facts. The rest is just interjections, objections, and justifications by the loyal Legion of BB defenders.

The real question you should ask yourself is this, if BB is willing to accept his mistake and move on by trading away N'Keal Harry for a mere 2024 7th round pick to the Chicago Bears, why can't you?

We have to most cap space in the league in 2023 a year removed from having the most cap space in the league. You really have zero clue how this cap thing works.
That's false but we know you're great at that.

You're repeating yourself over and whine and over and whine again.

If only Bill would've seen what we all saw. Alas

Half the posts on this thread are b***ching about the thread. So there's that.

Real Patriots fans root for the team (and HC) to do well. Obviously you are not in this category. So the question is, why are you on the main board when Ian created a separate forum for you?
