Gronk not at practice today

He's pissed because there is no way he's reaching the incentives. After all he's done for the Patriots I don't like they guy is being treated like a slave.
...and the Patriots have paid him $54m to be a slave.

He reached the incentives last year.

#1 rb was a wide receiver.
The offense put up 400 yards.
The offense won by two scores.

That counts as rolling to me. Every game isn't going to be a 30 point blowout, and even with a healthy gronk the team still would have been running out the clock in the 4th quarter.
Come on, you should know by now it’s not about winning. Doing enough to win is embarrassing. You have to be flawless to satisfy this fan base.

I have a feeling we are starting to see the end of Gronks career. I just don’t think he can take it much longer physically and mentally. He has had some sort of injury every year that he has had to battle to get through.

I don’t think his skills are diminished or he has lost a step, I just think he’s injured and if his contract wasn’t incentive based he would be sitting.

It’s looking more and more that Guerrero’s method may be great for Tom Brady and aging QBs, it’s not so great on players that take a beating every game.
Gronk has not soent a penny of his nfl pay. He isn’t making decisions based upon incentives.

People need to stop acting like the work for the national enquirer or are auditioning for first take by making things up and acting like they are real.

Julian Edelman disagrees with you, but I suppose he knows nothing about the Patriots O compared to you and me.

Bertrend is the type of guy who cherry-picks the good candy out of his kid's efforts from Wednesday night.

Yeah man, you're right. the patriots are hot garbage.

5 game win streaks and all that mean nothing.

Scoring 38, 38, 43, 38, 25 over that span is MOST DEFINITELY not rolling. Might as well pack it in boys seasons over. this offense cant even score 40 points every game, how are they possibly going to win a title.

I'm curious what you consider to be "rolling" if 35 ppg during this win streak isn't rolling.

probably finally got around to that amputation

Good point. Gronk will take the foot and regenerate a new one if the healing process is taking too long. I suspect that's whats happening here. The secrecy, the weird behavior at the presser - it all makes total sense now.

If it is something that will heal up if he sits a chunk of games then I say DO it. If this is an injury that will linger all season regardless then I'm concerned.

Then why renegotiate the contract if he isn’t making decisions based off of it.

Who’s acting like they work for the national enquirer or auditioning for first take, isn’t that what all posters dream about including yourself?

Reading some of your posts your the king of Hot takes. Let’s not throw stones at glass houses.

Keep changing the goal posts, man. I never said the Patriots are hot garbage and I never said they wouldn’t win a title. All I said was the Patriots offense cannot be viewed as “rolling” right now, especially after only scorong 20 points against a bottom feeder team. And their star WR confirmed my belief, but that’s not good enough for you. But whatever.

Deleted. I posted an old report by mistake!

Goal posts havn't changed. I was being facetious because you are being obtuse.

The offense is rolling.

In the last 5 weeks the offense/special teams has scored on average 35 points per game if you add in the pick 6 from the bills game that number goes up.

averaging 35 points per game is rolling. having an off game happens.

Answer the question I asked you. What would YOU consider rolling, if a 35 ppg isn't rolling?

Seems like Gronk only gets open from play action..

Well, if Bill could see that he’s not the same player, he sure did a piss poor job of finding a replacement.

This GM BB Draft bashing gotta stop.

They were rolling BEFORE last week. Then, last week, the loss of any threat of a ground game between the tackles slowed them down. They didn't suck ass, but they didn't have a KC-type of game. That's because 1) the Bills actually have a good defense and 2) they could comfortably play the run from their nickel and dime packages.

I hope that’s enough to beat GB. I just worry the offense is going to look like it did in weeks 1-2.

And do we know it’s his ankle? I thought his back was bothering him.

Offense in week 1 and 2 didn't have Edelman or Gordon. I wish we had made a pitch for Golden Tate so we could load up at WR minus Gronk.
