Gronk nearly traded to DET in April

Who drafts better?

Name me the team that nails every draft pick.

Exactly. Look at the draft over a window of 10 years and give me that mythical team that hits consistently in the draft. People used to jerk off to the Ravens drafts (OMG OZZY), then it was the Seahawks and more recently the Saints. What have they done in the other 7-8 years where they didn't nail it ?

BB is awful. You’re right. Why can’t he do better than .741 in NE ? I mean, NFL coaches that can only win 3 of every 4 in two decades are a dime a dozen. Not to mention the embarassing five SB titles ! That isn’t even 10% of all SBs ever... gross.

I agree : “reign in his ego”.

Maybe you need to read properly before you comment? When did I say any of this crap? I said things have been weird starting with the SB and you bring up ancient history.

The delusion of some on here is sickening. Bill is not perfect.

Pretty sure this was reported months ago as well...but sounds like Gronk came to the Pats and just said I only want to play for you..vice versa ect

I think now after he's done here in NE after his next big injury or in 2 years or so he will just retire.

We get these draft picks and don’t really draft the best.

I am tired of reading this. He is certainly not above criticism but this garbage is getting old.

BB has drafted more probowl and allpro players than any other team, by a good margin. And that is with him picking at the bottom of the barrel.

Get this pinkhat **** out of here.

It would've been interesting to see Brady's only passing target this year be a 2019 draft pick.
That’s a really long pass, time and distance....

There were several reports last year that stated that Belichick went off in the locker room on Gronkowski last season when Gronk stated that he wanted to get some training help from Alex Guerrero - that certainly could have added to some disruption between Belichick and Gronk and may have been one of the reasons why Gronk did not commit to this season after he was interviewed after the Super Bowl - I think the fact that Guerrero has been allowed to be a part of Brady's training again has probably helped with the alleged interior issues from 2017

Not sure why it was put out today like it was a new report
Eah, maybe, a media story line to improve viewer numbers for Sunday night which have been bad year to date....let’s say something bad about the patriots, you know, build some drama to suck all the fans that hate the pats to watch the game....

nah.....the hatred tonight from the haters will come if/when Josh Gordon scores his first TD as a Patriot

This is not true. The reports were that BB chewed him out over his blocking performance during camp during one of the daily "lowlights" sessions where he does it to everyone (including coaches).

Gronk himself confirmed in an interview last December that he was not even close to being competitive during camp and also not quite there yet in the first part of the season. If a player stops following parts of his strength and conditioning schedule and then gets pancaked regularly in camp then it should not come as a surprise if he gets called out on it.

This is insanity. Bill needs to reign in his ego. Our offense would have been horrifyingly bad! Don't know what he is thinking anymore. I always thought that everything he did was rational even if I did not agree with it. However, starting from the Superbowl, he lost me.
Good. Stay lost. Bye bye...

If Gronk had to relocate to a cesspool city like Detroit,I would fully understand why he would rather retire
Detroit had nothing to do with it. He doesn't want to play anywhere but here, at least for now.
