The Patriots are hoping that a dud can be transformed into a stud. I hope they were not blinded by his punt returning ability. Jonathan Jones may be the better player.

I would guess thats still the plan as he was a high pick. Muffing punts has nothing to do with taking Logan Ryan's spot.

As mentioned above, slim pickings for a veteran free agent corner. The best prospects (Flowers, Shields, Hall) have question marks due to concussions.

If butler's not traded we wouldn't have a draft pick until pick 72 unless bill traded jimmy which alot think won't happen unless you're clayton.

If Butler is traded for a first rounder, the Pats need to use that first rounder on a CB. If Butler isn't traded, then they'll have Butler at CB and won't need to use that first round pick on a CB.
