Depending on who is starting I will also keep an eye out for Perkins and Roberts. I would think this is the type of game they should make a push for being included in the 53 or PS. According to Patriots.com it's year 3 for Perkins and year 2 for Roberts.

How long would players get to show they are worth keeping on the squad ?.....3 years ?

I share the same sentiment.. give me Pop Douglas all game, definitely Gonzo and Cunningham. Other than that.. week 1 can't come fast enough already..

Not Starting your back-up in a Preseason game is like viewing him as a Starter. This have to be a first I don't want to see McSorley all night.

I believe this is BB being cautious as guys are already banged up.. I'll be waiting to see POP Douglas personally

If it is true Zappe is not playing the game is a lot less interesting for me. I wanted to see Thorton, Douglass and Boutte perform, How well they can show with Malik throwing them the ball isn't the same.

Roberts was a binkie last year so eyes will be on him
