I was emailed the announcement yesterday but just opened it. Season ticket holders will get free parking in all their lots. Also all tickets are digital for entry. I dont know if they're going to print real tickets though as keepsakes. I hope so. I collect them. edit: please move to the Patriots forum

What is more social distant about a phone compared to hard paper ticket? If anything my cellphone carries more disease than a piece paper in my pocket.

It's not like they took the paper ticket and licked it so you could gain entry. A quick scan of either upon entry seems no different to me. Maybe someone has an explanation because the only one I have is they are using this to permanently get rid of them and less people will complain.

I suppose it was only natural for the world to head in that direction.

Just curious because maybe there are things I'm not thinking of, but is there a reason we would want to resist moving to only electronic tickets on your phone?

For those people that where their tickets on lanyards I suppose it's easier to flash your ticket that way then to hav eto take your phone out of your pocket when passing by an usher in a 'high end section'. I could buy that argument.

I have every stub saved since around 2004. It's a small souvenir is the only reason I have.

PS really wish I started my stub collection when I was a kid. I have quite an impressive couple of shoe boxes including Celts, Sox, and Bruins too.

They had free parking last year and it wasn't limited to ST holders. I parked in the free lot last year and it was great and it seemed there was plenty of room...oh no, you have to wait 2 hours after the game and walk an extra quarter mile...

I thought it was only STH? I parked in the free lot a bunch of times too. Early on not that many people knew about it or used it, but towards the end of the season it was crowded and hard to get out after the two hour wait. I still used it though as my walk was much shorter.

I guess now we know that the stands are probably going to be empty for games.

2 teams today announce significantly reduced capacity on game day
Krafty, likely knowing his team will make a similar announcement soon, generously grants free parking for “ALL” in a glorious empty gesture (or not)
My man!
Never sleeps
