For me the easiest thing to do would be to dump all the kids he grew up with, and move on to a "better class " of people. I wouldnt and havent. He has a lot to lose by being with them, well thats what he chooses, I am sure he has wayed the consequences. His life.

This is the crazy part to me, that some people assume that Hernandez has bad influences in his life, which may explain whatever behavior.

What if Hernandez is actually a worse influence on his friends than he is to them? Just sayin'...that's a possibility too, isn't it?

It is possible. Just as its possible that in this situation that he really does not know what happened despite your claims he certainly does.

there's a far greater possibility your brain is an atrophied piece of swiss cheese, Meathead

It still remains that for the judicial system and also law enforcement, murdering animals is not on the same level as murdering a human being.
Murdering animals is illegal??? Cripes, I've shot a ton of animals. In cold blood, too. Stalked then, laid in wait and blew them while they walked down the trail minding their own business. Nothing illegal about that.

I think VIck was sentenced for dog fighting, not killing animals.

I'm 100% in favor of killing certain animals, like cows, chickens, pigs, etc. The taste so good with BBQ sauce.

But seriously, I understand your point. People go nutso over animal cruelty (cute animals, mostly, like seals) while kids the world over die of malnutrition. I don't understand it.

And spiders. God I hate spiders!!

Actually if we want to get technical it has been fours days. It was first reported Friday morning and now Monday is considered over as the courts have closed. So unless they actually got one sometime today or they go to a judge's house it has been four days.

I wonder if that was written by the same reporter who confirmed an arrest warrant would be issued last Friday

As wrong as the media may/may not be with some of these aspects, I do not blame them one bit for the warrant news. Supposedly a warrant has indeed been issued on paper, but not signed or entered into the database. That may be due to a potential squeeze play which they hoped would enable him to talk more, which is a very common ploy in serious crimes or when more information or cooperation is needed.

In cases where they want someone to talk more (drugs, murder, even burglary and other "cycling" crimes that are somewhat serious in nature that usually don't have the highest conviction rates) they often issue what is called a "paper" warrant as opposed to just issuing one into the state/national database for ANY law enforcement official to act on. The object is to have one or two detectives obtain this "paper" warrant as a bit of a bargaining chip. In other words it is used in many instances as "we have you already, so any cooperation is going to help you tremendously." There is also a kind of "good cop" feel to it in a sense of "I have the power to arrest you right now....but I'll hold off on this if you can help me with some more information." Obviously if they really wanted the warrant to be acted upon, they would simply present it to him and/or enter it into the database. At this point it certainly seems as though they do NOT want anyone else to pick him up, as they feel his cooperation level would be at its lowest point then.

Sometimes the paper warrant turns into an actual arrest, and sometimes it doesn't and is only used as a bargaining chip for more cooperation and information. The fact that it's been reported that it hasn't been signed yet may lead some to believe that they are simply fishing for more information and cooperation from AH, who they obviously believe can help them get pointed in a better direction one way or another, and who currently has a lot of suspicion surrounding him.

It been three days since it has been reported the police have an arrest warrant for Hernandez and they are just waiting for a judge to sign it. Was he arrested today?

This why we cannot believe anything until the police speak publicly and produce some facts.

See my above post, Rob. There seems to be an awful lot of confusion over this "paper" warrant issue.

It seems to me as though they are posturing/threatening a bit in hopes of getting AH to give them more information; however that doesn't mean that the warrant will never be issued either. They can easily get a judge to sign that immediately--as in seconds or minutes at most. Most of the time it can be done electronically or over the phone, however they may need an actual physical signature that could easily be obtained 24/7.

They're trying to solve a murder charge, not an OOJ issue; but if they are not getting anywhere with the murder investigation I wouldn't be remotely surprised to see the OOJ warrant issued if there are no other options remaining and they feel that they have sufficient evidence to actually prove the charge (something we have no idea about as the public).

I don't believe that there are any reasons to be jumping the gun with issuing an OOJ warrant in this case, but assuming they feel it can be proven we may definitely get to that point here sooner rather than later.

Must...not go off...on tangent.

Does anyone else know people who are extremely against hunting but who happily buy meat and eggs and dairy at the super market?

Can we get MSP to investigate these people for idiocy? One of my acquaintances is this way and he drives me up a wall. Really, hunting is cruel but corporate farms with chickens shoved together so tightly they can't move that's totally cool.

what the hell is the matter with you????????

OF COURSE the Chicken Littles are against killing chickens...I mean, this has to be explained??

and let me tell you something else...the kid next door is a budding serial killer...I caught him lighting flies with a magnifying glass in the sun and entombing grasshoppers in glass jars....HE'S definitely a serial killer, just like I saw on TV in CSI MIami...

So if they are not getting "anywhere" with the murder investigation???? they will issue a arrest warrant? Sounds a bit contradictory....I cant imagine a judge issuing one in such a high profile case without some sound evidence.

Arrest warrant for what? Obstruction? Did AH destroy phone and vid? or maybe his fiancee did? how can they prove that? He will be out in a sec. I dont think AH will sweat that. That would be a move of great desperation.

In another bit of bs news reporting...headline....scuba divers in lake near AH home daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....no in lake Tahoe!

I blame the press for this. You are letting them off too easily. The fact that the alleged warrant was a paper warrant is a very big piece to the story. And they missed it. In fact, the story over the weekend was they were looking for a judge to sign the warrant.

The warrant is indicative of what is wrong with today's media. Media outlets were falling over themselves to be the first to report that a warrant was issued or there isn't a warrant, but there will be one, or whatever that they didn't get the facts straight. The motto of most new outlets today is "It is better to be first than right and you can always issue a retraction later".

Retractions seem a think of the past, as is verifying a story. Any news source say they were wrong about the warrant?

The media got it wrong. They deserve the 'blame'.

Perhaps it is a paper warrant because they do not have enough evidence to get a judge to sign it?

according to unnamed sources Aaron Hernandez is currently in prison on the moon.

Here's that statement people have been waiting for
#Hernandez's attorney Michael Kay says his client “the subject of a relentless flood of rumors, misinformation & false reports in the media"

"These include repeated publication of supposedly confirmed report an arrest warrant had been issued for Aaron, a report exposed as untrue"

"None of false reports come from official sources and we appreciate the professionalism & restraint shown by the Bristol County DA"
https://twitter.com/WesleyLowery

Notice that he doesn't claim innocence or anything like that (because that does nothing). He simply attacks the media, and rightfully so.

To recap: #Hernandez's lawyer says no arrest warrant issued. Calls out media for reporting otherwise. Says he'll have no further comment.

They are now reporting the prison was located on the supermoon which may or may not be the same location as reported earlier. They are awaiting for their unknown source to confirm, once he gets off the crapper. It is anatomically impossible to simultaneously **** and talk out of your ass.

Or, here's the whole thing:
