I agree but none to the level of Jackson, who's dismissed as an inaccurate rushing quarterback who can't read defenses by people who have never watched him take a single snap and are judging purely by a statline and the color of his skin.

Many people find Jackson to be an inaccurate QB. I have not seen a single poster analyze Jackson based upon never seeing him take a snap.
So but only do you make that up to defend your hard to defend position you decide to blame it on racism.

It's weird to call my position hard to defend when it's shared by a majority of the people who analyze draftees for a living. I'm not really sure where you're getting the idea that my take is some absurd outlier; it's your "I wouldn't take this guy in the third round" talk that's the bizarro analysis and you've done nothing other than cherrypick stats to back it up.

Again totally wrong. My opinion is based upon his play on the field. Statistics illustrate some evidence to back up the opinion of his play. Not the other way around.

I’m sorry that you can’t understand that people can have different opinions when evaluating players. I’m not sure why you feel you have to act like a 7 year old who had his candy taken away because someone evaluates a player differently than you do.

I’d be thrilled to land Bradley Chubb.

I wrote a post in the draft forum with a touch of hyperbole perhaps wondering if B.B. saw Chubb as his Lawrence Taylor. I wasn’t suggesting he’d be that good, just tat I see Chubb as having a transformative effect on the defense like Taylor. I realise that was over-egging it but maybe I’ll dial it back and say perhaps B.B. sees Chubb as a better Chandler Jones. I’d be disappointed to give up that much in terms of draft capital, but I’d love to land Chubb and he’s one of the few prospects over the years it wouldn’t altogether surprise me if BB went all in for. There’s something about him over and above pure football ability.

My favourite thing would be the exploding of the talking heads expecting BB to have traded up for a QB only for it to be about Chubb all along.

Ryan Tannehill was another dual threat quarterback with questionable accuracy coming out of college and there was none of the "he's running a QB, running QBs are useless, convert him to wide receiver" crap that you see around Jackson.

Tanneyhill would have no prayer of making it at any other position. Jackson is probably better at a different position if he wa yes to play there

There are many thing different about the players than the color of their skin.

To wit: tanneyhill rushes 58-306 his final season, Jackson 232-1601.
And tanneyhill threw 531 times to Jackson 430(for the sake of comparing Ron to pass ratios)

Falk or Lauletta (haven’t done Mike White). A future starter would be great but to be honest a decent four year backup is just as important and I think Falk and Lauletta could be just that as a minimum.

That’s exactly what both of those guys are, quality backups. I prefer lauletta over falk but If our future starting qb options are gone by 23 we should improve other areas, eventually drafting a developmental type qb and try again for a qb next April.

He's Colt McCoy. I don't really have a thumbs up or thumbs down to that because you could do a lot worse than Colt McCoy in the 3rd round, but I can't help but feel you can probably also do much better (though perhaps not reliably at quarterback).
