Draft Rumors

I wish you'd been wrong. Saw lots of him his 2 training camps here. Sculpted, robust Ty Law type physique with zero in the head. Brady visibly despised him, at one point in scrimmage stoped play to signal him off the field as apparently he'd lined up totally wrong again. He'd be on the field yukking it up instead of focusing on his assignment. Visibly awful. I used to attend camp a lot back then and got blasted on this forum for calling him out as a bust from the get go. Visible bad attitude. Marked contrast to Deion Branch who grokked everything from day one at camp.
I remember I was on the board under a different name but I lost access to that email a long time ago.
I remember a poster saying he was a bust and I remember he got in trouble at some benefit by the team for acting like a idiot.
And Brady was one of the ones I believe layed into him at the time.

I don't trust Elway as a trade partner. I think there is zero chance Bill will trade with him. Just an opinion.

I don't think it's so much trust as not matching up. Elway will demand a lot for that pick and Bill will not be willing to make what's recently been a top competitor in the AFC stronger.

They have done minor deals together, most recently the AJ Derby swap.

Ummm .... ?

With the draft trade value chart, I'm not sure how "trust" or "don't trust" enters into it. A trade for picks either works out mathematically or it doesn't.
Of course but I think your missing my point. Im saying I think its unlikely for a deal to even reach the point consideration because Elway is kind of a snake and Icant see Bill willing to deal with him.

If Elway offered BB the #40 (500 points) + #99 (104 points) for the #31 (600 points), I'm not sure why BB wouldn't take that trade, if there aren't any prospects at #31 who interest him any more than the prospects likely to be available at #40 would.

I agree that Elway is a snake, but I seriously doubt that BB would turn down a fair deal because of that. BB doesn't allow his feelings to rule his decisions.

??
What does that mean?
A deal is a deal.

If Rosen is available, it won't help the patriots to refuse because we don't want to make DEN stronger. If we don't trade with them, someone else will, and they will make DEN stronger.

Elways face even looks like a rattle snake. Wish I had photo shop

I've tried to predict Patriots draft picks and have been so wrong that I've gotten mocked for it. Does that count?

I've done like 100 simulations, so I'll be able to point to at least 1 pick I got right and proclaim myself a genius!

Can we just say nobody knows anything and it's all guessing and conjecture.
One day Rosen next day Jackson next day Mcclinchey just the other day it said the Patriots were not impressed by the O line prospects.
I think we should just take the draft away from BB and let's Patsfans.com have a vote of which players we should draft.

Not a big fan of trading up for a tackle. A good (to very good) tackle could be found in round 2. Hell, Light, Vollmer, Mankins & others were picked in round 2 or later. I feel you only trade up for impact offensive (scoring) players or impact defensive players. Trading up for Chubb, one of the really good DBs, or a QB is good value.

Also there has been talk that McGlinchey’s play was impacted by playing next to Quinton Nelson, and Nelson is the really great player. Really hope this doesn’t happen. Though we are top heavy with picks in rounds 1-3, the next picks we have is round 6. Trade down instead of up. I guarantee you some Tackle in rounds 2 down will wind up better than McGlinchey.

Pretty obvious the pats are going to need a QB and a TE.
Old man Brady ran out of gas in the SB and the dancing, foul mouthed, often injured, motocross rider is wearing out his welcome in New England.
Trade them both for picks now

I wish a reporter would get it over with and proclaim: "I'm hearing the Patriots are very high on every player projected to go in the top 40 and could even move up Thursday night to select him" It would save a lot of time.

No one is saying the Pats are all in on McGlinchey or Rosen or anyone. It’s a rumor and this is a thread for draft rumors.
