I want to admit I was wrong about bringing Diggs on this year. I thought his age/injury would result in him being like Juju. I also thought on how he departed from Buffalo that he would be a cancer in the locker room, demanding the ball and churping at our young QB who is trying to become something special. Then not being around much in volunteer practices (I know he was still rehabbing) and the boat incident had me thinking well here we go its running of the rails fast. But since the season has started he has proved me wrong. The guy is a fierce competitor, great work ethic, a leader and is a team player who tries to bring up his teammates. He has shown on the field that he is still a stud and is clutch as hell. I am glad I was wrong and have quickly become a fan as he is checking all the boxes. I hope he stays healthy and keeps performing on this level. May have to go get a Diggs jersey!

I also stand corrected. I thought he would be a 600 yard / 3 TD performer for us this year and so far in just 5 games he is close to 400 yards .

I admit I was a bit wary too just because of the fact that he had such little interest league wide and the age.

This was an A+ signing. Not only does he still have the ability but he couldn’t be better for the locker room either.

Patriots need a deep threat receiver to take the top off of defenses. Probably in the draft. Diggs might be good for another year or so.

I was just stunned watching Diggs do his thing last night. Incredible talent. Can't believe he's at this level physically less than 1 year from a torn ACL, he's a freak. His leadership and team-first attitude are also top-shelf. His performance last night really changes how we have to view this team's potential.

I just couldn't help but notice his route running, his ability to find holes in the coverage, his hands, the sideline play is just something else. It was very clear to me that his talent is on a different level than the rest of our receivers.

I don't think he worked that hard (and equally successful) in recovery for just one season. He turns 32 in November so who knows how many but after the off-season he just put in I'm not putting a cap on him.

Id gladly take that as well and i feel its a fair expectation. Give Drake 2 years with this version of diggs and Mcdaniels, that could be more than enough to catapult him into the elite category
