49ers FAILING at asset management yet again. They traded two 1st round picks to draft Trey Lance and the kid couldn't even see the field over the likes of Jimmy G. Now they turn down the 10th overall pick which they easily could have used to draft say a Jameson Williams, but nope, they sticking with Deebo and if they don't PAY HIM, he just WALKS after this season and they get nothing but a 3rd round comp pick!

They also get Deebo Samuel for the season.

The Jets drafted what generally was believed to be the best WR in the draft at 10. If he lives up to or exceeds expectations, they will have an elite WR for five years at a reasonable price.

The Jets would have given the 49ers more than the 10th pick for Samuel and Samuel is likely going to force his divorce anyway. And Garrett Wilson has the potential to be better than Samuel. And even if the 49ers convince Samuel to stay, Wilson's entire rookie contract is likely to be less than the yearly average of Samuel's. Samuel is likely to get $25 million a year. Wilson's rookie deal is supposed to be $20 million for four years.

Cousin, I would swap out whole 2022 Draft class for Deebo and it's not even close.
