Damn releasing Jack Jones was one of Bills worst mistakes.

So he doesn't call in sick or ask for days off ...
just takes bathroom breaks here and there ... he really **** himself on that one.

If there were any mistakes made, drafting a known... and I mean well known... trouble maker, with serious red flags, would be at the top of the list.

Yep… Some of us wanted Tariq Woolen or Zion McCollum at that pick if Bill wanted another CB; Jackoff wasn’t on my radar for the very same reasons mentioned above…

Having said that, I still don’t believe that Bill should’ve waived him out-right; that decision should’ve been made during the offseason, and by the new FO.

Jack Jones game has always been about jumping routes, but he was a horrendous tackler due to his frame/build.

I could live with a CB who wasn't the greatest tackler, but he was glaringly bad. In the end, he flat out didn't want to play for the Pats and they obliged since he wasn't worth the hassle.

Just wondering... have you ever gotten a draft pick wrong?

As a fan we get several cracks at it. We have several players we would want at any given pick and we get to just assume we'd make a move for anyone within reach of our pick.

I can't believe I am doing this since I feel the same way about hindsight etc. , but in Captain Stone's defense, he did prefer both Woolen and McCollum.

When I played Madden, I always got the best players in the draft. There was a way to find out who was going to be good and who to avoid. Those were the days.

Posters give him ****, but he's had many examples warning us about draft picks that ended up busting and having suggestions of who he wanted during the draft.

Sorry but you have to be a moron to not remember that you are carrying. I live in Pennsylvania with one of the highest gun ownership rates in the country and we are on the New Jersey line which has strict penalties for carrying ( even if you have a permit in a neighboring state) and everyone and I mean EVERYONE knows you don't carry if you're going into New Jersey.
The people who don't remember they are carrying at the airport are likely the same people leaving guns in a place where young kids can get to them. With the right, comes the responsibility to act responsibly!
I think carrying is different than having it in your luggage but I can see how difficult that would be going from one state to another state with different gun restrictions.

The worst problems seem to come when criminals bring a gun into gun-free zones, like schools and government buildings. In those cases nobody can defend themselves. There was a sad case of that in a company a few blocks from where I worked years ago. A lunatic walked into a company and killed all seven people. One of the people was a woman who had a right to carry but the company didn't allow her to bring it in. I'm sure every one of those people wished they had one as the nutcake took them out one by one.

Then there's the tragedy of 9/11. That was caused without a single gun because the pilots had been unarmed using the same scare tactics being used today.

And he has some great nicknames. He's no Chris Berman but he's close.

By the time you get to day 3, pretty much everyone left has "warts" of some sort. It's hard to say that any pick on day 3 is bad at the time it was made. Even my personal bête noire from this draft, Joe Milton, was a defensible choice.

Jack Jones is overated big time. He jumps routes and gets some spectacular picks but sucks on run support.

Woolen should have been the draft pick. His physical traits are unique and his selection at that spot was a no brainer

Jones character issues were well known before draft

Oh yeah; I thought at the time that the trade-up for Chad Jackson was a great move, e.g…

How about your take on Bentley. Ouch.

And Onwenu. Double ouch.

You also hated the Dugger pick. These are just three examples. There are many more.

And our CBs besides Gonzo suck.

And Yes I am…
Gonzo, Jon, Marcus and Marco are superior CB’s… much better than Jack Jones. Stop sniffing glue…
