Jack Jones would be the 2ND-best CB on the Patriots 2024 roster...
Looks like our old friend may have been one of the players making business decisions.
You’re high Captain Stoned.fify
Just wondering... have you ever gotten a draft pick wrong?Yep… Some of us wanted Tariq Woolen or Zion McCollum at that pick if Bill wanted another CB; Jackoff wasn’t on my radar for the very same reasons mentioned above…
Having said that, I still don’t believe that Bill should’ve waived him out-right; that decision should’ve been made during the offseason, and by the new FO.
As a fan we get several cracks at it. We have several players we would want at any given pick and we get to just assume we'd make a move for anyone within reach of our pick.Just wondering... have you ever gotten a draft pick wrong?
I can't believe I am doing this since I feel the same way about hindsight etc. , but in Captain Stone's defense, he did prefer both Woolen and McCollum.Just wondering... have you ever gotten a draft pick wrong?
When I played Madden, I always got the best players in the draft. There was a way to find out who was going to be good and who to avoid. Those were the days.Just wondering... have you ever gotten a draft pick wrong?
Posters give him ****, but he's had many examples warning us about draft picks that ended up busting and having suggestions of who he wanted during the draft.I can't believe I am doing this since I feel the same way about hindsight etc. , but in Captain Stone's defense, he did prefer both Woolen and McCollum.
I agree. Not a perfect record but amazingly better than I ever expected.Posters give him ****, but he's had many examples warning us about draft picks that ended up busting and having suggestions of who he wanted during the draft.
I think carrying is different than having it in your luggage but I can see how difficult that would be going from one state to another state with different gun restrictions.Sorry but you have to be a moron to not remember that you are carrying. I live in Pennsylvania with one of the highest gun ownership rates in the country and we are on the New Jersey line which has strict penalties for carrying ( even if you have a permit in a neighboring state) and everyone and I mean EVERYONE knows you don't carry if you're going into New Jersey.
The people who don't remember they are carrying at the airport are likely the same people leaving guns in a place where young kids can get to them. With the right, comes the responsibility to act responsibly!
And he has some great nicknames. He's no Chris Berman but he's close.Posters give him ****, but he's had many examples warning us about draft picks that ended up busting and having suggestions of who he wanted during the draft.

Jack Jones is an average corner on a bad defense.

Oh yeah; I thought at the time that the trade-up for Chad Jackson was a great move, e.g…
Gonzo, Jon, Marcus and Marco are superior CB’s… much better than Jack Jones. Stop sniffing glue…And our CBs besides Gonzo suck.
And Yes I am…
