According to CNN...

$250 billion set aside for direct payments to individuals and families, $350 billion in small business loans, $250 billion in unemployment insurance benefits and $500 billion in loans for distressed companies.

Under the plan as it was being negotiated, individuals who earn $75,000 in adjusted gross income or less would get direct payments of $1,200 each, with married couples earning up to $150,000 receiving $2,400 -- and an additional $500 per each child. The payment would scale down by income, phasing out entirely at $99,000 for singles and $198,000 for couples without children.

In addition, the bill would provide a major amount of funding for hard-hit hospitals -- $130 billion -- as well as $150 billion for state and local governments that are cash-strapped due to their response to combat coronavirus.

Liberals generally dislike Trump.

There aren't serological tests available so it's hard to tell if those anecdotal 'recurring' cases are actual recurrences or if people were just released before the virus had been expelled from their systems. Other coronaviruses generally confer some degree of immunity for a time depending on the strain. There was a report that this strain is not mutating very much, which is good news for antibodies and the potential for a long-term vaccine.

To me, that's a very important distinction.

Most posters in this thread are a moderates and very few are dyed-in-the-wool conservatives or liberals, despite having some pull in one direction. A lot of posters here are centrists who don’t like Trump or conservatives who are pretty balanced about Trump.

Then there are a few pretty staunch conservatives/Trumpers and I suspect a few hardcore liberals who claim they’re in the middle but aren’t.

There was a lot of talk about it in China when this first kicked off, however many were dying from a second bout of pneumonia from compromised immune systems and lung damage due to Covid19. If I can pull anything up from an article or journal Ill link it.

Still too early to tell. In theory, those infected should be immune from reinfection after recovery. That assumes the virus doesn’t mutate, which, to the best of my knowledge, is the unknown.

The Democratic-Republican party was formed by Jefferson and Madison, who are the forebears to the modern day Republican Party.

They championed states rights, a small federal government, and were largely interested in the South’s well being (hence they supported slavery.)

To try to trace a party back due to its name is ludicrous. The Dems and Reps flip flopped in the mid 20th century...evidence is in the voting patterns of southern states.
