We played Newton, unfortunately. Our defense had him looking like Aaron Rodgers before 11/1/2015. I do remember being annoyed with the ongoing beatdown between Steve Smith and Talib. I can't stand Steve Smith anyway. If Newton trashed talked our D that night, I would've accepted it because they deserved it.

Cam threw for 209 yards. Smith had 62 yards and no TDs. They beat us by 4 points and had to have the league virtually cheat on the non Gronk PI call to get the win.

Yes, poor Brees, lol. I thought penalty-prone Browner would help them out, but nope. Newton fighting with the Saints D was immature, just a bad example of leadership on his part, but try living in Carolina where they make excuses for every stupid thing he does. OMG Browner has been so bad lately. We totally agree man Smith is such a big mouth. LOL feel for you man. Cam is the man there, always making excuses for him acting like a child. Times like this I am so glad to be a Pats fan.

I can't think of a game I've watched this season were I didn't think this. I think this is compounding framegate and leading to a palpable shift in opinion on the Patriots.

Refund? Carolina has a very good defense so they'll be competitive. There are lots of guys who can step back there and run the ball from the QB position and they'll do it for a lot less than $100 million.

We met on the field of battle again today. This Carolina regiment is hardy but not insurmountable. It seems my new strategy of simply waiting for a mistake to be made by the opponent and then depending on those around me to carry the day while I myself accomplish nothing is bearing fruit.
