Chung, Flowers & Rowe out Sunday

McC can't cover people on man-coverage and Flores' system relies on them much more than Patricia...

???

You know it is the same defensive scheme you have been watching, right ?

If there really was more man-to-man coverage then there is a 99.9% likelihood that this was related to the opponents than to how Flores interprets BBs defense vs. how Patricia did.

I'm not convinced that will end well...still might be a better option than #30.

IDK. Through two games, JMac has allowed 3 catches on 4 targets for 31 yards total. He has a PBU and 5 solo tackles. Played 41% of the D-snaps. Better than Rowe by quite a bit.

No, I think Rowe getting benched last week and his comments postgame are all I need. I only had a quarter and a half to work with.
If you don’t want to look at the plays on the field, you ought to have your discussions with someone else. Have a nice day.

Is it? What are Rowe’s #s?

Whatever man. He was trash last Sunday, he even said so himself. This is what you do when you don’t have a leg to stand on. Have a nice day.

Optics. Not dressing a vet without an injury excuse sends the "doghouse" message to the rest of the team.

The message is between him and BB.

I could be wrong. Just a hunch

You do realize that BB and the Pats can be severely punished for putting a guy on the Injury report that isn't injured, right?

Yes

The leg I am standing on is fact. He allowed 2 passes. If you want to make that out into “trash” the leg you are standing on is very wobbly.

Hollister played in the first two preseason games. He caught 2 of 2 against the Skins, and 1 of 1 against the Texans. According to my notes, he apparently tweaked something (probably the hammy) either in the HOU game or early in the following practice week. After that, he was participating in warmups, some positional drills, but spending "team time" on the lower field. So, he "partly" missed only the last two weeks of Camp.

So far during the regular season, Hollister was "limited" for all three week-1 practices (hammy) and didn't play against the Texans. Last week, he was "limited" (hammy) for the first two sessions, but off the report on Friday. He caught 3 of 3 against JAX.

This week, he didn't appear on the report until Friday, after apparently suffering a "chest injury" from a "hard landing" in Thursday's practice.

In contrast, Rowe missed 7 games in 2016 with various lower leg issues. He then missed 8 games last season with a groin issue (apparently re-injured now). To me, THAT is "oft-injured". I don't apply it to players who occasionally miss a game due to something that's not likely to be chronic (ribs, chest).
Okay, you don’t care for Hollister as an example. I can appreciate that. Fair enough. Perhaps some of us are allowing his recent issues to cloud our judgment.

Lol comical considering those two passes contributed to being benched for performance. He even confirmed it postgame.

This is your comment that I disagreed with.

He very well could have come up lame again after giving up the td but let’s not kid ourselves. He was sucking pretty bad before that point. Injuries shouldn’t be an excuse for what happened to him.

“Before that point” he allowed one reception

We’re still arguing about Eric Rowe?
