You, ALREADY, have been proven wrong on this one. JG clearly is a round one quality QB.
No I am not wrong and clearly zero other teams agree with you. That’s fact, not opinion.

Can’t wait til around 2033 when people say “Well Brady did say he wasn’t playing in 2035...”

If we through in Brady as well could we get the number one? /sarcThe draft value chart seems to show that if we package the likely JG 2nd round slot with our own low first, it would be a fair trade to get into the top 10. Rosen is going very early but I’m sure one or two of them would be there.

Couldn't find it, would take you about 5 seconds to post a link, but it's fine.
Belichick refused Browns himself, and I am talking about now, after having won 4 straight in very impressive way with Niners. So, yes, YOU are very wrong and should revisit your thinking. No I am not wrong and clearly zero other teams agree with you. That’s fact, not opinion.

It's a shame how Luck's career has been shut down. Aside from his flaws and lack of development as a QB, the pathetic excuses for coaching, front office work and oline play are major reasons he is now a 2018 CPOTY candidate.Brady essentially outlasted Luck (or likely will). He could outlive other greats who started after him like Rivers, Eli, Ben, maybe Rodgers, etc. Perhaps he outlast Jimmy G.
If the Patriots can trade up into a position to draft one of the Big Three QBs this April... watch the hand wringing about JG disappear.
I don’t think Luck is done anytime soon, I still think Luck is great. Difficult to blame him for the worst managed team in the league from Grigson and mediocre coaching from Pagano. I bet he’d have won a Super Bowl in Seattle too.Brady essentially outlasted Luck (or likely will). Well, that is actually interesting in the sense that everyone is talking about how important the future QB is. Would you trade our 2nd, our 1st, AND Gronk for the number one pick overall? (and they have to throw in some random pass rusher or a late round pick too)Ha.. probably. Or even Gronk.

I actually agree with you about Luck. Forgetting the injury, he is the worst example ever of couching destroying talent at that position I have ever seen. Imagine if he had been in Jimmy's spot for 3 seasons, learning our system behind Brady, and what he would be like. Jimmy is still better though.I don’t think Luck is done anytime soon, I still think Luck is great. All I am saying is you and I are talking about 2 different things. NOW, after how he has transformed the 49ers, no GM in the league would not rate him round 1.That was one report, based on just one Cleveland source as I mentioned earlier in this topic. Unsubstantiated.
I highly doubt Belichick would have refused any first rounder for Garoppolo or any QB with 6 quarters of experience who got KOed after one hit.
I'll go out on a limb and say he won't be playing in 2030.

Serious question for people who say we should have traded Brady:
How many SBs would Brady have to win from this point on (aka since trading Jimmy G) to make you feel the Pats made the right move?
One championship? Two? Three?
Edit: Nunchucks, you seem to have disliked this post for some reason. Why not just give an answer instead?
