The issue is I don't think people are crazy about the rookies and Stafford is a known quantity.

I wouldn't bet any money that Ward or Sanders are ever as good as Stafford. And I'm one of those guys who isn't even particularly impressed by Stafford
The Rams are letting Stafford walk because he is failing like QBs in their late 30s.

We need one or Two Very Good Skill Positions player too: we Don't have any on the current Roster. Our Offense is molasses slow. We have nobody who can take it to the House on one play. Speed should be the Emphasis of our Skill Position Players.
Only guy is pop.. but AVP didn't know how to use him.. wait until pop and gibby are properly utilized by Josh..

Twin you right.. we have a real eye for talent now.. Vrabel isn't going after scrubs and semi-pro players. Look at the type of LBs he had in Tennessee with Harold Landry..
It's going to be nice to have LB's who can go from sideline to sideline and cover a RB and TE. Not named Two Down Thumper Jalopy Tavai.

Lets qualify that. Tyquan Thornton had speed. We don't want THAT.

We want playmakers. If they have speed, great.

No more ****ty drafts? Wolf was fired?
Yess!

Yeah I know.. we going to have 240 pound LBs who are athletic, can play the run and rush the passer..

The combine and pro days haven’t even happened yet. I’m foolish but you follow me around like a schoolgirl with a crush. Cope harder.

Ya, your methane clouds of crap are so massive that I cannot avoid them no matter how hard I try.

Carter, Hunter or Graham. None of the OLs are worth a top 5 pick.
They are if you can't get a high enough pick in round one to get them. OL, especially rookie tackles who can contribute day one are rare. If somebody will trade up and they have a top ten pick to trade, maybe the Pats do that, but otherwise go ahead and grab that top OT. They need both a veteran and a rookie. If the Rams don't re-sign him, the Pats should sign OT Alaric Jackson and draft the best OT on the board in he first round.

If the trade offers aren’t good enough then I’m fine with Graham, Campbell, or Jeanty at #4. So what if it’s a little high, all 3 are going to be really good pro’s who will help them for years to come.
Jeanty had over 400 touches last year. There's an awful lot of tread on those tires for the #4 pick. Especially when you can get Cameron Skattebo in the 3rd or 4th.

I hope he's as good as some folks think.
I don't get the love for him. He's Generic Pass Rusher Available in the Back Half of Every First Round Ever - right out of central casting. It's not Lawrence Taylor or Reggie White, or even Micah Parsons - taking that player at #4 is an insane overdraft to me.

My guess is that he plays for a program that's on TV every week and people can see him play. I don't know... I really think Mason Graham is the pick.

At least Graham has an unusual skillset that you could justify taking him that high, kinda, although there are other d-linemen with similar skillsets available down the board.

To me, it's Hunter or trade down, because even Graham isn't really a top 5 pick in my mind. If you trade out and still keep a pick in the top 15, you can get a Banks (my favorite LT prospect), Campbell, Conerly, Membou, Simmons, whoever, and still have gotten enough value with the additional draft capital. Maybe you can steal a Matthew Golden at 36 in that case, with another 2nd rounder to back up that pick.

I really wanted Banks all last year, but watching Texas, I didn't get the feeling he was "special". He's probably a serviceable OL, which might apply to Campbell as well. Simmons is probably the best of the lot, but he got hurt so we missed out on all that tape.

The reports on Graham are that he's a real culture guy. That to me is worth the #4 pick if he's indeed a Logan Mankins kind of guy on defense.

I'd love to see them get Golden as well, but my guess is he'll be a riser this week at the combine and will move up into the second half of R1. I am really interested to see what Bond looks like. He was gimpy thru the second half of the season. He could really help himself this week, too.

I mean, that's the thing, right? Taking Banks at 4 would be kind of crazy. Taking him at, say 14, would be far less crazy.

I wouldn't say unlikely. Stafford has permission to seek a trade and the Giants are the number 1 team people are pegging him towards. If they make a play for him and get him, there's no chance in hell they go QB.

The Titans already said they aren't and the Browns are married to Watson.

So if that scenario becomes the most likely scenario depending on where the Giants are at QB come draft time.
I just saw Schefter say that the one thing he’s sure of in this draft is at Cleveland’s going to take a quarterback, we shall see
