Abdul Carter vs LT at 4?

Giants take Hunter in that scenario. IMO he’d immediately be their top CB, and if he moonlights as a WR he’d be their second most dangerous option there as well. I think for the Pats to have any hope of Hunter, Ward and Carter need to go top 2 in some order and the Giants have to really want Sanders enough to pass on Hunter.

Thats what im fearing. Kinda makes me NOT want Cleveland to take sanders, but Abdul Carter. But then we run the risk of BOTH carter and hunter gone. So tricky!

Yes.

As of March 25, the top of the draft seems to universally be Carter, Hunter, Ward, Sanders, in some order. If Carter, Ward and Hunter are gone when the Pats pick, then it gets interesting.

Meant to ask which one of the 2 theyd pick. I just worry giants would lean hunter over carter. But then again its the giants they could also take Jaxson dart

Yeah I’m resigned to Hunter not making to us at 4 so at this point I’d prefer the “bird in hand” of the Browns taking Sanders. Miss out on potential elite WR but get potential elite pass rusher and arguably the #1 overall NFL prospect in the class.

DE- Landry
DT- Barmore (hoping)
DT -Milton Williams
DE- Carter

That is a crazy good pass rush.

Carter drawing comps to Von Miller. If the draft goes Ward, Sanders, Hunter... you run that card up there.
He's not Von Miller.

I'm sorry but I'm not crazy for Carter - at least not at #4.
I think people have overrated him based on the imagination of Parsons. But, he's a tweener pass-rush specialist in the NFL.
He's not a true DE, and will NOT be able to set the edge in the run.
That's not worth a #4. So, if Hunter is gone, we should trade down. PERIOD.

Then we get bpa around 10-14 (likely LT), and then use extra pick to try to grab Golden at bottom 1st.
Or flip that for WR in middle, and I'm as intrigued by LT Milium late

People thought the same as Parsons although I still think Parsons is a scheme guy with manufactured stats. If he lined up against T's and edged rushed all day, I don't he'd have nearly the same production. Basically, it's the same concerns people have with Harold Landry.

Guess Campbell must have bought a used rack on eBay - his arms lengthened by 3/8 inch - now up to an even 33 inches, which at least sounds better.

You’re completely wrong if you think drafting a tackle with red flags is a better pick at 4 overall than an edge rusher with all pro potential.
What are the multiple red flags?
If you primary case is the mystical short arms problem, and you are then reaching for something else to justify the plural, don't bother.

Latest mock I've seen has him going #1. So much up in the air this year.
