Carter & Hunter gone by 4# Trade down?

If we stay at #4 and pick, I'd take Graham. If we move down a couple or three spots and gain added picks, I'd take Jalon Walker or Tyler Warren. I would NOT take Campbell at #4 (and I wouldn't take him in the Top 10 either). Especially if we get Alaric Jackson (who would solve out LT problem for possibly several years to come). In fact, it's always been Jackson, and not Higgins that should be our primary FA target. Alaric Jackson, Josh Sweat, and Milton Williams would be my Top 3 FA signings. Anything good after that in Free Agency would be icing on the cake. And then, they must NAIL the draft!!!

IMO, wanting to draft Hunter is really an argument to have the draft before free agency.

5 Kid's?? Right now we only have 2 Pop Douglas and K Boutte. Regarding Polk a Baker....God only knows.

I know some of you Patsfans don't like Dion Sanders because he's very outspoken. But make no mistake about it he can Coach: and have nothing but glowing remarks when talking about Travis Hunter.

Deion Sanders was one of my favorite players growing up. I had his sneakers, and I still love what he is doing. I just don't think Travis Hunter is elite at either position, and people are getting caught up in the novelty of him being a two-way player. I think he is a very good college corner and a good college receiver, but I don’t think he is an "elite" prospect on either side. If we were picking 10 picks later, then fine, but I don't think the kid is a top 5 pick.

For us amateurs/fans who don't have the first clue in evaluating NFL talent at a quantifiable level, it's impossible to say if Player X is a top 3, top 5, or top 10 pick. We just read what other "experts" say and if we've watched the games and Player X makes plays consistently vs NFL-caliber talent then we have the formings of an opinion.

Based on watching him play and the "experts", it seems Graham is worthy pick at #4. There is the concern about arm length but the man is ridiculously quick, insane motor, and as you say has a great attitude.

If he is there at #4 I would not be a fan of trading down.

They need everything on OL except Mike Omwenu.

But OL Coaches like Scar who can plug almost anyone in is a rare breed. The Guy in Philly is the only OL Coach able to duplicate that: everybody else have QB's running for their NFL lives. The point that's easy for Scar to say. How many OL Coaches have We had since Scar retired?? Three I think and our OL play is among the worse.

If we stay and take Carter I am fine with it. If we take Hunter I won't be happy. My ideal scenario is trading back 3-5 spots and getting another 2nd and hopefully Will Campbell is still there at that back end of the top 10.

In the very unlikely event that the first three picks are (not in order) are Carter, Hunter and Graham, then there's sure to be a trade partner for one of the QBs for #4. I am all for trading down, but they are not going to get a haul unless they drop way back. I think there's a real chance under my scenario they overdraft a OT at #4, be it Campbell, Banks or Simmons, depending on what happens next week at the combine.

I’ve come to the decision that I want Tetairoa McMillan. If the team trades down and grabs him, great, but id be fine with him at 4.I’d be fine with Campbell or Graham, but I really want McMillan, it’ll be interesting to see what he does at the combine.

I think people are devaluing McMillan, the kid is a beast and would make a great weapon for Maye.

I think Hunter is way more Talented than Prime Time coming out. So what does that tell you...he has Special Player written all over him. People need to stop sleeping on Hunter.

My eyes are wide open. It's impossible to sleep on Hunter, not if you have watched any college football over the past 2 years. I have watched 6 or 7 Colorado games. My eyes tell me that he is a good player, but not generational at either position.
He dominates weaker competition, no so much stronger teams. To me he's a 1st round, mid round, pick. He will probably an above average CB in the NFL and an average WR.
That's not bad but I wouldn't use #4 on him.
That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

Look at the value chart. Let's say they drop to #7. The value of that drop is like 300 pts. You're probably going to get a 2026 R2 or a R3 this year. And you need a willing partner. The draft haul will be to drop back to like the teens. By then, you probably miss one of the three OTs, but certainly one of the top DL will be there.

If that is the case then stay put at 4 and take the guy you like whether he is projected a few picks later or not. Ideally for me we take Campbell there as long as they see him as a tackle.
