Rams are a mess unless you love Goff. OL is bad. WR are bad. Top D drafted with RG3 picks getting to end of (cheap) first contracts. #1 and #3 gone this year in Goff trade.

You'd almost be better going to the 49ers than the Jags or the Rams, if you don't have a QB in place that you like it's better to go to the dumpster fire where you can get your guy.

100% chance the guy the Rams hire is hired to "Fix Goff" and Blake Bortles is horrible, nobody will ever convince me that guy is a good quarterback.

I would take at least 25 quarterbacks over Blake Bortles.

People keep saying the Jaguars "have talent" i disagree they have a lot of high draft picks most of them have never shown anything yet, their so called defensive studs let Luck go down the field today in about 1:30 with no timeouts to score a TD, just a brutal organisation is Jacksonville losing is what they do.

I know the job isn't open, but I would love to see what McDaniels working with Mariotta would look like. I think he could do the things with Mariotta he thought he'd get to do with Tebow.

Despite having a roster that can only charitably be called a "dumpster fire," Chip Kelly was only given one season to turn things around. Hell, if they can't prove that they're willing to give him at least two and a half seasons guaranteed, I wouldn't even meet with them.

IMO, There should be a moratorium on coaching changes until after the Super Bowl. Don't get me wrong, I don't see anything wrong with Black Monday.
Fire all you want, but to have the audacity to go after coaches whose seasons aren't over yet is wrong. I know some coaches are capable of saying "We'll talk after the playoffs are done" but they should have the respect to NOT put them in that position.
I still remember Parcells on his way to the Jets while coaching the Patriots in the Super Bowl in 1997.

a cogent, intelligent post, Dawg. Exactly why it will NEVER happen, as long as the myopic Goon is omissioner.

Please go to Jax or SF....And make it known you need Jimmy to go with you. Yes, please. Imagine the irony if we end up with a 1st and 4th for JG? **** you Roger we just had a year delay.

Thats probably something Josh wants and would absolutely help him and a deal get done. And a better deal for us.

It would be coming from an owner that understands its a 3-4 year process

Agree.

It's looked down upon in college. When a coach ditches his players for a "better" gig.

Yet in the NFL its lol'd and part of "rumor mill".

McDaniels is stupid if he takes any of those jobs.

Amen brother! However if josh loses his mind and he gets personnel decision control and takes one of those dead end jobs, then I am hoping Houston losers it's mind and cuts bill O'Brien. We could use him back in the fold!

No way in hell JMD should go to SF. York is an idiot

every one of dose jobs is a career ender. bills are the only team that needs a coach that Josh can win more then 5 games with, he already failed with Denver and they are going to hire kyle shanahan

I don't know about Jacksonville, I keep hearing for 2 or 3 years that they will make the jump yet they never make, this season was awful and they could've gotten the #1 pick. I know the HC was one of the worst in the league anyway they are kind of doing a solid job on the draft and free agent signings, it just seems like one of those perennial losers, bad DNA franchise, I'd stay out of that job, even with that division out for grabs.

The Rams are going to interview Sean Payton.

Control of every decision, above GM, Jimmy with him, and Jaguars could be Patriots threat for throne in couple of years. I have no idea why they are bad as defense, because they have some good players.

Jacksonville would be best fit for him. Lot of talent already on the offensive side of the ball. If he takes Jimmy G with him, they can win the division because of how incompetent rest of rest of AFC South teams are.

Are we thinking that whomever Josh goes to as HC will be our Jimmy G. trading partner? (btw the reason I always refer to him as "Jimmy G." is my brain has yet to fully crystallize the spelling of Garapollo.. not even certain that was correctO
