[old man yells at clouds.gif]

I'm not really tech illiterate.
But I see the internet and social media for what they are, which is not much.
Take off the blinders.

Actually, if you believe his telephone transcripts - which I do - he appears to have just been looking for a massage. He ended up getting a hand job from the co-owner and thought it was because the lady liked him - they had a connection. He seems just like a lonely old man.

Are you really that gullible? He claimed he didn’t know it was a rub and tug and then claimed he “thought he had something” with Lulu. Then the next day got a HJ from a different woman. There is no way on earth this story had a shred of truth, and I cannot believe you actually believe Kraft.

Had a connection? The incidents took like 10 minutes each. Are you trolling? This is the biggest horse sht ever, and how convenient that a friend claims to have discussed it with him, which is impossible to prove. There are no transcripts, just an obvious fabrication.

Come on, man!!!

No blinders here. Other than twitter (and my handful of tweets in 8 years) for news I have no social media accounts.

I just found it interesting you would use someone’s utilization of that as a barometer for “respect”.

Not sure why you would lump the Internet more broadly in with social media specifically, but whatever works.

Dude, that is a badge of PRIDE. I'm with BB. I refuse to have anything to do with any social media- snapface, mychat, urspace, whatever the ****. Yes the pressure is strong to join all the other mindless millennial drones. I lose a little respect for anyone that does any form of social media. Sorry it's bs for people with no lives. Ok bring on the hate.

Uhhhhh...you realize PatsFans.com, where you have more than 2000 posts, falls squarely under the category of “social media”, right?

Nah, patsfans is not really social media. It encompasses basically our mutual enjoyment of the Patriots. Social media is much broader than that. One if my beefs with it, I'd it keeps people from actually living. Like ya know, meeting people face to face, surfing, skiing, making love, playing a musical instrument, actually " living". Everyone I know is into social media. I just refuse to do it. I'm proud of it. I also just don't have the time for it. I barely have enough time for this.

Ok well feel free to make up your own definitions of stuff if it helps you sleep at night.

Well, don't have time right now to delve into the internet. I agree they're 2 distinctly different things.
But the purpose of the internet, as with all technology, is to help us to do mundane things faster and easier, thus freeing us up to have more time to do things that really matter- developing and improving relationships, giving back to society, self improvement etc.
Seems a lot of people get bogged down with the internet itself. It just ain't all that. It's like tv,- you can have 1,000 stations- but only about 3 of em are worth watching.
But whatever works for you. I mostly kinda feel sorry for folks that spend a lot of time on social media. Their lives are just passing em by.

Good to hear that you have decided what the internet is for and that it has nothing to do with improving (or starting relationships) giving back to society or self improvement.

The internet was invented for the sole purpose of trolling fans of other teams.

FYI every musician I know (and I know a ton) uses social media as a huge part of their music.

Well, that's different. That's business.
Yes, I know many musicians. Most of the people I know are musicians. All different ages.
My ex wife has a music studio and is among many things, a vocal coach for a lot of professional singers.
But that's different. Social media is a tool for many businesses. I'm not talking about that obviously. I'm talking about people's personal lives. 9

Whoa dude, way to make stuff up. I never said it has NOTHING to do with any of that. It can be a means to an end with that stuff- just don't make it the end itself.

Uh, that's what you just did in your previous post. Pot/ kettle

Ahhhh 20% of all current committed relationships began on line.

Go on, I am listening...

The Internet is for Porn.

Quickly, cause I gotta go- I've never personally used anything online to meet people. I can meet all the people and women I need to - in "real" life.
I'm not knocking anyone doing otherwise. There are lots of people so busy that's the only way they can do it. That's great! I'm obviously not talking about them. If they used the net to actually meet and develop a relationship with another person " in the flesh", not just online, then thats great. Again, not what I was talking about. I'm talking about people with exclusively online relationships. That's not so great.Gotta go.

Either you're being facetious, or you've really never studied the history of technology.

I met my ex-wife online...unfortunately, she died of lead poisoning a few months later....
