Does Brady win NFL MVP in 2021

  • Yes

  • No

You can't use the if game. You wouldn't know what could have happened. Optimistically yeah he was on pace for that, but he also could've gotten hurt, thrown more picks, D. Adams could've gotten hurt etc...Of course I'm bias and would say TB is the MVP. He leads every major category besides QB Ratinf and the ratio. He also leads every advanced metrics out there DVOA, EPA etc..It's a close race

I would agree that it's a close race. No one is saying Brady is having a bad year. He's having a terrific year, but context is everything. At the least what I have proven above is that Rodgers is not a stat padder as this forum likes to characterize. Rodgers has had 1 year with 600+ passing attempts while Brady has had 8. Of course, Brady's numbers are going to be better at that rate.

More meaningless troll posts from Porksley. Rodgers would NEVER have as many attempts or even come close to it. Rodgers most attempts were 610 in 2016 (only time he went above 600). He's ranked #50 in the all time attempts list. This is sheer fantasy and total BS

Because Rodgers doesn't like to pad his stats...

The whole point is when you throw 40-50 times a game, your efficiency goes down. That’s just obvious stuff. When you drive a car fifty feet, the engine runs perfectly and at ideal temperature; when you drive a car 500 miles, it runs hotter and performance suffers. This applies to virtually everything on earth.

In football, when you throw that much, not only does performance regress to the mean…it gets much worse for every player as you no longer have run/pass balance. The defense is using an extra DB on almost every play. If you throw 20-25 times like Ryan Tannehill, you’re only throwing against favorable coverages.

I’m disappointed Porksley’s ceiling fan couldn’t hold up 450 lbs and ultimately collapsed.

Bills trolls and Mother's anus posting early in the morning. Good start!

Oh now it's about Rodgers not having the capability of throwing 50+ times a game...got it. In reality he doesn't like to pad his stats, which his numbers prove.

Either way, Rodgers should still be viewed as the heavy favorite

Rodgers also got the 1 seed, despite playing in 1.5 fewer games (vs KC and half vs Detroit). He could have easily finished with a 15-2 record. @Deus Irae

Posting an article by a Brady hater is classic trolling by our resident scumbag Porksley. Porksley was on his way to perform fellatio on Rodgers but ran into Chris Simm's ass. Lmao

Brady is basically unmatched in his ability to throw 50+ times in a game... and win.

Brady 16-8 in such games. Rodgers 3-6

And if you move it down to 40+
Brady 64-33
Rodgers 19-29

So it should be obvious why Rodgers isn't going to throw it 600+ times a season

Interestingly the top 3 QBs with 40+ passes a game
Mahomes .760
Brady .660
McNabb .547

Proof? Unless you spend the entire day researching this...

Suddenly a guy named Benjamin Zweilman is biased against Brady lol

Alright, according to that, the best QB to win games by throwing more than 50 times a game is Mahomes by a significant margin. Doesn't change the fact that Brady only had 6 more TDs this year than Rodgers while throwing nearly 200 more times. This is what we are talking about.

I have never heard of TDs/att being a stat of relevance.

And I assume by 50 times a game you mean 40. Because Mahomes is only 2-2 in 50+ games.

versus playoff teams:

Brady: 9 TDs, 3 INTs (4 wins, 1 loss) - 20% of TDs vs playoff teams

Rodgers: 10 TDs, 1 INT (5 wins, 0 losses) - 27% of TDs vs playoff teams

It's common sense that the more you throw a game, the more likely you are going to throw for more TDs. One player in the MVP race has a significantly higher number of attempts this season.

ANd if we are talking 50+ attempts, Roethlisberger, Moon, and Dak have a higher winning percentage...
