Does Brady win NFL MVP in 2021

  • Yes

  • No

Results are only viewable after voting.
He might be going for the record again. Here is an odd stat. He has 4 less td's than Brady but almost 1000 yards less. Meaning his run game gets them down the field and then he is throwing short goal line td's.
yeah it seems to be nothing new. I remember 2012 being a big one

2012
Packers 433 points
Rodgers 39 passing TD (2 rushing TD)
running backs 7 rushing TD
11-5 record

Patriots 557 points
Brady 34 passing TD (4 rushing TD)
running backs 21 rushing TD
12-4 record

both received 2 MVP votes and Rodgers got the 2nd team all pro

I think if tb12 hits 40 TDs he wins it. He has a lot more yardage. I don't think the more int's will hurt him if he hits 40+ passing TDs.

will be funny if Rodgers tantrum yesterday of a reporter not voting for him for MVP because he’s an as.shole turns off more voters.

It just might. The reporter who said he would not vote for him for being a jerk, said other voters felt the same. But honestly, Brady has had the better season on the field which is probably why Rodgers is lobbying so hard to play vs Detroit this week despite his toe injury.

Would be funny if he threw a pick or 2 vs Detroit which I'm 99% sure it won't happen, but it would be hilarious

Rodgers getting hurt playing in a meaningless end of season game only so he could pad his stats would be something.

Against current playoff teams:

Rodgers - 8 TDs, 1 INT, 4 games (out of 35 TDs, 4 INTs total)

Brady - 9 TDs, 4 INTs, 5 games (out of 40 TDs, 12 INTs total)

Brady needs 4 TDs on Sunday

44 TDs at 44 years old has a nice ring to it.

What two unbelievable seasons by Brady though since leaving the Patriots. You can make the argument that these past two seasons are the best two seasons in a row of his career. Right up there with 2007 and 2010. But of course those seasons were not back to back.

taken from Reddit. Saturday night before the Super Bowl will go down as one of the great MVP robberies

Even he wouldn't do that... would he?

For you fans wondering why PEDton received so many MVPs this might help...

As for Rodgers beating out Brady for MVP, I say that there's no way it's happening. Brady has had too good of a season to ignore, and at age 44 for cryin' out loud.

Brady has the narrative edge. Also more than half of his INTs were dropped passes off of the hands of his WRs.

Last 2 years have not been nearly as good as 2010 thru 2013, any one of those years.

I wouldn't expect them to be, he's 44 years old

@venecol @Ice_Ice_Brady

Rodgers: 37 TDs/4 INTS, 4114 yards, 531 passing attempts

Brady: 41 TDs/12INTs, 5316 yards, 719 attempts

If Rodgers had as many attempts as Brady, his numbers would be,,,

50 TDs/6INTs, 5766 yards

In other words, Rodgers would blow Brady out of the water if he had as many passing attempts as Brady. He deserves the MVP. Remember, it was Brady himself who said Rodgers was way more talented than he was. He's not wrong.

You can't use the if game. You wouldn't know what could have happened. Optimistically yeah he was on pace for that, but he also could've gotten hurt, thrown more picks, D. Adams could've gotten hurt etc...Of course I'm bias and would say TB is the MVP. He leads every major category besides QB Ratinf and the ratio. He also leads every advanced metrics out there DVOA, EPA etc..It's a close race
