Boykin: Patriots tried to 'bully' us

If you feel bullied in a preseason practice and feel the need to go cry about it, then you may not be cut out for the NFL. I guess we'll be seeing him listed on the injury report with a broken feelings pretty soon.

How embarrassing is that for Kelly and this weenie's teammates? This guy and Wuss Welker could start a ballerina league.

Yep, Welker is a real *****. Truth be told had you are any of the other Internet tough guys who trash him ever taken one of the shots he actually walked away from your relatives would be laying flowers at your gravesite.

It is times like this when it is actually embarrassing to be a Patriots fan. These players deserve better.

This reminds me of the dolphins DB who cried about the Patriots scoring in the 4th quarter last season

Ivan, I know you love WW but seriously stop! WW showed his true colors with his recent comments. The Pats gave him every opportunity to get away from the Phins and their crap QBs to play with a HOF guy in a system that clearly favors the slot receiver.

The paid him ("more money than I would ever need") well and turned him into a superstar.

Everyone knows how BB is. Everyone! WW brought all of the heat on himself with his very (Not Patriot Way) attitude and comments which quite frankly came across as at best, amusing to at worst, cringe worthy. Can you imagine Brady or Brown, or Bruschi making comments like that or calling out the coach with the "In Bills face" comment?

Its a rhetorical question so it does not have to be answered.

Bottom line WW could have handled the departure many different ways. Instead his started whining how mean BB is and in fact made him self look like a hypocrite, baby and a whiner. If the Pats were so awful he would not have tired to come back. Lets just call it what it was - The Pats did not want him back.

Just move on...even the biggest WW homer would have to admit his comments were petty and out of line and attention seeking. Just say, I play for the Broncos now and I appreciate my time in NE or I enjoyed playing there...Or its a tough place to play. Why whine that BB hurt your feelings?

It is times like this when it is actually embarrassing to be a Patriots fan..

I think its embarrassing when 33 year old professional athletes come across like a 12 year old girl.

If I remember correctly, they were whining because the Pats kept running the same running play over and over and they still couldn't stop it. Which makes it even worse of course.

Here's what I think was going on: the Patriots have a more demanding practice tempo and style than the Eaglets. They're used to a "comfortable" tempo and then the Patriots come to town and embarrass them. I can see how that might seem like "bullying," but it's just another day at the office for BB and team.

I don't know if it was just the Patriots practicing faster and harder than them or if they were actually being bullies on the field, but I'd be kind of happy if the latter was true. Maybe its just me but I miss that kind of attitude from the Pats, specially on the defensive side. And I'm not talking about showboating either cause I hate that. Even when the Pats do it. It was just an attitude they used to have like a bully/confident. I don't know but I think you guys know what I mean.

Yep, and the comment was "they knew we couldn't stop them and they kept running it anyways.

All of the Pat players were/are saying they had fun, it was competitive...You read that Talib was running up and down the sidelines following Dobson,...Praising TB..Etc. Joking around with the media... Then you have the Seagulls crying about the practice, Heck it's even on that little ticker thingy at the bottom of the screen on NFLN today. Too funny

Boy..kin that guy cry or what?

Is this an annual award? We play too fast against the Bucs and too hard against the Eagles. No wonder where they stand. I'd rather be tougher against the Ravens and Giants.

Here's the trick...

The other guy is on practice intensity, you're on pre-game intensity, you win.

The other guy's on pre-game intensity, you're on regular-season intensity, you win.

The other guy's on regular-season intensity, you're on playoff intensity, you win.

The other guy's on playoff intensity, you're on championship intensity, you win.

This seems to work really well. The only place BB's had real trouble is what happens when you're on championship intensity, and the other guys are the Gintz.

I had man love for WW when he was here but can we move on now? Even sick of the main page being full of WW pics & articles the entire off season.

This is what the NFL is coming to...
Suck it up.

I can see it now.
Middle of the second quarter, Boykin is yelling at a ref because a Pats WR touched him.

Unsportsmanlike Conduct: Trying to win a football game, number 17, offense. Fifteen yard penalty from the spot of the foul. Automatic: fourth down.

Personal Foul: Number 34, hurting another player's feelings. Ten yard penalty, loss of down.
