Love the sound of both. Wonder if Grant will be picked at some point between 15 and 47. Obviously BB may just move backwards and take him with the new pick.

How do you like Rousseau? I think Phil Perry was suggesting him as a raw talent type of player with a lot of ceiling left to work toward.

Others may disagree, but I don't like Rousseau that much right now. His physique is great, his production is great . . . but his actual play drives me crazy when I look for translatable traits/techniques. Second round gamble with big upside, but I want more of a sure thing in the 1st.

Haven't been in tune this year, but where's Lance projected? Seems like a home run.

I actually like Milne's routes a decent amount. He's a great option later in the draft if we miss out on any of the big names. He seems fairly polished and plays both inside and out. Solid number two sort of receiver.

Never understood his hype or appeal in terms of top 10-15 pick? Lots of production off easy plays vs bad comp. Lots of size & length but not nearly enough to gamble on that early. Guys like Turner, Basham and a few others have similar grades from me.

Top 10-15. I'd be shocked to see him on the board at 15 but who knows. For the position we're in, he's as good as it gets.

Strong hands, versatile & tough. Wilson's favorite target. I liked that cast on BYU.

How would we feel about Wallace round 2? Coming off ACL. Contested catch magnet but RB (love the way he secures the ball after getting it) with the ball in his hands. Very physical, not quite on Shenault's level but him & Chase have to be up there in this class. He lowers his shoulder every other play. Very confident and comfortable playing/using the sidelines. You can see he's a YAC monster in the flat area. He looks fast, runs hard and supposedly ran fast at exos (4.39) coming off an ACL.

Just an idea, but...

SMH at those even thinking about drafting a Safety during Day 2 when we have crater-sized holes at QB, TE, WR, LG if/when Thuney leaves, DT, DE & CB if/when Gilmore is dealt. Now if some of you believe that Bill is able/even capable of filling All of those craters before the draft, then by all means speculate on what Safeties (& RBs) will be available during Day 2...

Ahhh Yes.. THe Captain Stone analysis that the whole team sucks and we need everything new.. SMH..

If you read my LB thread you'd see Collins brought up a few times in Oct/Nov last year. Tier 3 coming into the year. Had him as a top 50-60 last year and was a little off. He's a top 25-30 player. Watching him you knew he'd blow out once you watched him. Evan and all the big shots have come around.

Thought he was a SAM fit but looks like he can play inside. Can rush off the edge. He'll be LB1 on my board if he test well and confirms what you see on film in that area. A lot quicker in terms of processing than Parsons but Parsons movements are pretty special.

@State @TheRazorsEdge and others have asked about him a while ago and where he'd go.

Collins moves well for a big boy at 6'4 /260 but want to see him test. He flows & chases well but doesn't have the best change of direction although it's certainly not the worst. Instinctive, not quite ID'g plays before they happen but he's usually on point there.

Patient, savvy second level/flat defender that can sift through traffic and deal with contact. Gets to his marks quick and shows good patience defending, following the QB eyes. Didn't get baited a lot. Size-length and movements reroute incoming routes.

Smarts and efficiency show up in most areas. Recognizes down & distance plays. Ball coming out quick bc time on clock or the defense is sending pressure. Usually making a + play somewhere.

He can rush the passer from the edge and blitz. Similar to Parsons, you're getting a 2 for 2 in terms of abilities. They can play off the ball and line up as a DE. Not as explosive but ahead of the game upstairs at this time for sure. That's what makes Hightower so valuable. There's just not a lot of guys walking around at 6'5 260 that can do all those things. You can't ignore that from a Pats pov. Similar to an explosive or athletic DL/OL. Just not a lot of humans that big, that can do those special things. So from a you can't replicate this prospects skills/attributes later in the draft. Those two might be high on our board. Just not a lot of prospects you can turn to in a "value groupings" sort of way.

Collins simply isn't as physical as HT but he's physical enough.Hands could be heavier. HT is a demon he'll stick his whole body on the line and make you match that intensity (Spikes was the same way. So-so range and coverage but he would absolutely blow up a hole and love doing it) I and others have brought up KJ Wright as a comp. You could throw Wagner in there as well in terms of style, how they might take on a play. Not comparing players think more style and skill set. Not he's this good.

I would love it if we drafted Collins and had HT to mentor him. I've always said good things happen when HT rushes the passer. Collins could presumably free him up to do a little more of that and play a little closer to the los if Bill wants to. You could rush both off the edge. We're talking typical 34 rushers size for the most part, give or take. Add Wino, Uche, Dugger (I hope he's crashing the party up the middle with his closing speed if hes playing that close) and that's a decent group of guys who can rush and move around. I really don't want Collins as a HT replacement. Similar but different and as outlined above, the versatility and skill set is needed. Let him learn from one of the best and find his role even if that's taking over It's eventually.

Anyway Zaven Collins has been on my board for months now. He fits in too many ways to ignore. Definitely get familiar. I have a feeling a bunch of teams will want him bc of play and fit. NE, GB, Mia, Sea, Pitt, Balt ... Everyone will want him.

@borisman brought him up months ago in my thread. I had Barnes and Collins in my tier 3 before the year in July.

He definitely fits our type and could give Bentley some competition or just be an asset if he works out.

Another hybrid type. Started on ST and bounced back and forth between off the ball and rush end. Physical power player that wants plays with discipline, intensity and energy almost every play. Won't wow you at all except with his aggression and finish. He wants to finish.

He's comfortable in zone coverage although that's not why you're getting him. He can get to his marks, patrol his area but anything more is a tough ask. He plays smart though. He'll just try to do his job rather than set the world on fire trying something new. He has enough juice to run and disrupt crossers or jump on flat stuff.

Wasn't fooled much at all. Decisive and quick, picks up on things and will get vocal calling stuff out. Isn't fooled in the trenches and eyes are on target. Can handle the play and squaty build helps at times. + gap integrity and recognition. Has range to go east/west and cut off sidelines.

25 TFL and 10.5 Sacks. Loved at Purdue. 2 star guy that really made a name for himself and put respect on his name by working his way up. Under the radar recruit that climb the ST ladder to become a versatile and impact defender. He knows what it takes to work and what's needed.

I knew my guy Stokes would do well.

The automated time is more realistic, though (4.38).

I wanna see how he does on the drills with his back pedal but if everything goes well he likely might go in the first round. Came out of nowhere this season.

Yep, if the 4 QBs, the 3 WRs & Kyle Pitts are all gone before #15...and if Bill isn't in the QB business during Day 1...and depending on the remaining roster holes after the first 6 weeks of free agency...then I feel that Bill should use his 1st-rounder on whoever is still available among Collins, Parsons, Paye, Rashawn Slater, AVT, and maybe Barmore...DBs & other WRs should wait until Day 2...RBs & TEs until Day 3, if even then...
