Bedard does good job reading the tea leaves

...and back in the day Larry did his share of *****ing too.
But Larry would save the *public* *****ing for when it was needed, like after a candyazz playoff effort.

Tom’s public whining here serves no purpose and helps nothing.

Yea I don't see Tom going to a team which is years away from going to a SB.
No team fits

Miami -- they tanking for several seasons
Tampa Bay -- not going to win a SB anytime soon
JAX -- How would Brady beat out the Stache ?

wrong.

lol

When have you been correct on this subject? I have not seen it.
Everything I have said is correct.
What specific comment did Brady make that you think indicates he is pissed off at the team?

We won’t know if this story has teeth until after the season, if he doesn’t take what the Patriots are offering and moves on somewhere else for the next couple of years. I can’t see it, but you never know what’s going on behind the scenes. He, quite clearly, was not happy with the decision to part ways with Brown. That’s obvious. But employees often disagree with their employers/bosses and don’t decide to leave over it.
It’s not really a “story” it’s Bedard taking innocuous comments and turning them into a conspiracy theory.

ha ha haaa
Ok so there is no comment, your just abiding the conspiracy theory and saying I didn’t hear his comments that prove it, yet you can’t cite a single comment. Gotcha.
Stick to being the board clown, that’s your wheelhouse.

I already pasted it. Why should I always have to do your homework too Andy?

Bring your A game for crying out loud.

geesh

I've thought about Chicago as they need to make a franchise-altering decision on Trubisky this offseason. Clearly Tom would be a 10x upgrade.
They have a great defense and adequate receivers. Not sure they can create the cap space for him.

Problem is Nagy is a WCO guy.

League might cancel the cap to get Brady on the Bears

I agree and do believe that when Brady is forced to throw to other people, the team does better. Brady is 42. People get pissy when they get older. And I bet his wife - the person with the money and other nice things! - is pushing him to leave. I could see him in Florida actually for his last years.

For life, maybe. Not for football.

The first sentence (along with Brady’s pickiness) is the reason for the second sentence.
BINGO! The first impression I got had to do with Phil Perry's question

Phil Perry: “If you look at your offense historically, younger players have had a hard time in terms of having a lot of production…”

When you look at it closely it's really not a question at all since there is only ONE answer he can give. It's like me asking someone, "Given the sun has historically risen in the east, would you expect it to rise in the east tomorrow?" Only one answer to that question right. Same for Brady.
Perry asked a skillfully framed question designed to get an answer he wanted and hopefully get the ball rolling in the direction he wanted it to got.

IMHO, Brady answered the question predictably. EVERY QB wants experienced quality receivers. This is especially true since the Pats offensive system isn't very WR friendly. BUT Brady's full response allowed for a number of interpretations including the "Woe is me" narrative we got from Bedard.

Now as a subscriber, I enjoy Bedard, even when I hotly disagree with him. He makes a decent case for his point of view. Others aren't so rigorous or tempered with their thoughts, and the narrative gets crazier and more extreme. in the hands of the Volins of the world

Listen, we are 4-0 playing a game where only the spread is a question, not the final result. Then we are going for 6-0 against a team who's only chances for victory are massive injuries and a short week. In other words, what else is there to talk about other than AB, what a crabby old man Brady has become, and Bob Kraft's massage habits.

Hoperully, when we finally get to the Browns we will be able to start and talk about the actual games that will be coming up the next 6 weeks.

You aren’t doing my homework. The answer is THERE ARE NONE. You are being asked to provide the quote because it leant exist thereby proving you are full of crap.

Regarding Troy Brown, that is just completely wrong. The year before Brady took over, he had 83 Rec 944 Yds and 4 TDS. And that was with a 5-11 team and a QB throwing off his back foot.

.

Yeah, but I would not call him elite. A good solid player but not elite. My point is just simply that Brady has not had great elite level receivers in their prime.

83 Rec 944 Yds 3 TDs from Backfoot Beldsoe on the downstep of his career.

Perhaps because he didn't act like a diva adjusted people's perception of him.......

.

There are new rumors that we are interested in trading for Green or Eifert. In order to do that we would have to borrow more from next year’s cap. I’m really beginning to believe this is Brady’s last season and the team knows it. Borrowing against next year’s cap won’t be as much of an issue with Brady’s salary off the books. I suspect Brady is pressuring the team to go get another talented veteran pass catcher. If it is in fact his last season (remember he put his house on the market and was looking at property in the NYC suburbs), they might as well go for it.

Fair enough.

I obviously love Tom Brady. It's him and Larry Bird for me.

However, that article is spot on with respect to it's present day relevance in my opinion. Brady's comments this week were not good.
