True story. I was in New Mexico for flight training. I had my car registered in NH because in the .mil you can keep your states registration which I found better because it was cheaper in most places for me. I was living in a hotel for a couple months while I was there and for whatever reason my registration took longer to get to me. So come the 1st of the month I had no new tags, however I was all paid up and just waiting on the tags.

I had a flight so I said f it the base is only 10 minutes away. I no kidding got pulled over a minute after I left he parking lot lol. He checked, found it was registered in the system, said have a safe flight and let me go.
