Bandwagon Safety Notice

Fans always tend to overreact after a game, and say a lot of irrational things in the heat of moment out of anger and frustration.

That doesn't make them a bandwagon fan.

Not sure. Log-in after a Pats loss and the posts are asinine, or as you say an overreaction. I'm always curious, do the regular members know this and stay away, or are they still in traffic.

It's a board for all Pats fans, but don't be surprised when you get whacked for posting something stupid.

It's extremely wide open this year. Why anyone would be "jumping off" is beside me.

So this is a Pats fan board for Kool aid drinkers only.

No, its a board for Pats fans, whether they play like crap and lose or play great and win. Im not so sure what kind of fan jumps off because they're not playing well. They havent even played the game yet, if they play a clean game, they're going to win.

Not at all.

The fans that have been predicting 16-0 every pre-season are delusional and irrational.

The fans that declare the entire organization should be replaced from top to bottom after any loss are equally delusional and irrational.

The major difference that I see is that for whatever reason the fans in the second category seem to have a need to make their opinions known far more often than those in the first category on this site.

You were doing fine until you got to the bolded part.

I don't know about that; I think if you compare the number of sky-is-falling comments and threads after a loss to the number of we're-going-all-the way comments and threads after a win, the numbers are not quite the same.

Hop aboard - plenty of room for everyone!

A great day in New England. On to the Chiefs ...

The over-the-top homers are far, far worse, because they are allowed to get away with things that would get others banned.

No please don't hop on it was getting comfy up here it rocks too much with so many people hopping on and off after every game

In the last couple of weeks it isn't comparable. A newby coming to this board would have thought the vast majority of the Patriot fan base wanted BB fired and the Patriots are an awful team. Prior to the last two weeks, there was a deep underlying concern for the defense but the majority still had a strong feeling of positivity. Also, in general, the sky is falling crowd was FAR more overboard than homers thinking the Patriots are clearly going all the way. It wasn't even close.
That's my observation......

heh..I have it archived....they didn't outplay the Jets, they outexecuted them...see the difference, Deus??...if you do, please tell me what it is...he's completely whacked out tonight
