... John Fox deciding the crowd wasn't a huge deal in SB 38 so he didn't give the Donkeys any prep for SB 48 against the Seahawks, and the Donkeys played all their playoff games at home. Well, huge Seahawk fan turnout; 1st snap from scrimmage, miscommunication and a safety.
He does have the advantage of his team having just played at the Super Dome, so this isn't really a huge deal compared with other situations in the past in my opinion. For example, John Fox deciding the crowd wasn't a huge deal in SB 38 so he didn't give the Donkeys any prep for SB 48 against the Seahawks, and the Donkeys played all their playoff games at home. Well, huge Seahawk fan turnout; 1st snap from scrimmage, miscommunication and a safety. The Rams will be in better position to handle that, in my opinion, because of their recent experience.
But I just read in the local paper Pat's fans have become apathetic?
If your QB needs communication with his coach so badly and can’t think on his own. Then the site does not matter. Once McVay is not in his ear. I can guarantee you Belichick will be on his mindAs a Rams fan I think the neutral site favors the Rams more so than NE. The Super Dome was brutal and communication between Goff and Mcvay was almost impossible. Communication was also impossible at the line of scrimmage.
The Rams need that communication much more so than the Pats IMO.
'Miscommunication' is just a polite way of saying "Manning wet himself and screwed up right out of the gate".
