Atlanta over run with Patriots fans

I know there were a lot of Eagles fans last year, probably quite a few more than Patriots. How would you compare the crowd ratios from SB's 52 & 53?

Well McVeigh is hoping for a Rams' crowd. I guess he'll be disappointed.

He does have the advantage of his team having just played at the Super Dome, so this isn't really a huge deal compared with other situations in the past in my opinion. For example, John Fox deciding the crowd wasn't a huge deal in SB 38 so he didn't give the Donkeys any prep for SB 48 against the Seahawks, and the Donkeys played all their playoff games at home. Well, huge Seahawk fan turnout; 1st snap from scrimmage, miscommunication and a safety. The Rams will be in better position to handle that, in my opinion, because of their recent experience.

Will be fun to see how this will translate to crowd noise.

I am guessing it's a wine and cheese crowd with so many tix going to neutral fans and being expensive, but it will be great if it's enough to get a few chants going.

Ah, what a memory, and I LOVED this gif

Number of street fans do not directly correlate to in-stadium fans in attendance. I know a few Pats fans who went down to ATL just for the Superbowl week experience thing, and will be watching the game from either some bar in ATL or from home back here.

I'm not saying Pats fans will be a minority by any means (quite the opposite), but calling this a home game, is far-fetched. Hope I'm wrong.

'Miscommunication' is just a polite way of saying "Manning wet himself and screwed up right out of the gate".

When I went down to Jacksonville for the (1st) Eagles game, we pats fans were outnumbered 5-1, it seemed.

That held up INSIDE the stadium, too...sea of green.

MBS is more like Jerry World and less like the old Georgia Dome or the Super Dome. It’s cavernous and just doesn’t get as loud. The loudest I’ve heard it there was for the SEC championship game and the Atlanta United cup game. Falcons games are funeral like in comparison

As a Rams fan I think the neutral site favors the Rams more so than NE. The Super Dome was brutal and communication between Goff and Mcvay was almost impossible. Communication was also impossible at the line of scrimmage.

The Rams need that communication much more so than the Pats IMO.

If your QB needs communication with his coach so badly and can’t think on his own. Then the site does not matter. Once McVay is not in his ear. I can guarantee you Belichick will be on his mind
