And it hasn't been confirmed by Reiss, Rappaport or anyone else of substance

Reiss is reporting Larsen will be cut, probably headed to the practice squad.

Sixth-round draft choice Ted Larsen, a center/guard, has been told by the Patriots that he will be waived by today's roster deadline.

With both Larsen and second-year center/guard Rich Ohrnberger not making the cut, it could be good news for second-year player Ryan Wendell in the battle for the top reserve spot along the interior of the offensive line.

Larsen has practice squad eligibility and could return to the team if he clears waivers.

That is interesting, but maybe one or two of them might be cut by the deadline. Many here thought BJGE was going to get cut. I thought so too. That might be something to watch as well.

Whats surprising about Brown? He has played well and has shown a knack on ST as well. BB always keeps 1 Un Drafted Free Agent and Brown is this years!

No he wasn't. The Patriots did not file the paperwork at that time. They were waiting for this past game because they were going to play him. Not sure why they didn't play him..

Well he is listed in the Thursday game book....as far as Brown goes..I have seen ups and downs on ST..But with Slater/McGowan possibly on IR....

It looks like there will be more cuts coming from the ILB position.

Mayo, Spike & Guyton are the locks. McKenzie has shown enough to stick, but does BB want Fletcher and/or Williams for special team depth?

I have been unimpressed with Fletcher in the preseason and other than a couple plays at FB in the first exhibition game, I don't even remember seeing Williams on the field.

The five "cuts" that day were (A) four on IR, and (B) DB Terrence Johnson. As of Thursday, C.Taylor was still a Pat.

If the NFL allowed teams to list "ST" as a position, Slater would be listed at ST, not S (or WR or whatever).

It wouldn't be the first time ESPN gave out bogus information but on August 31, they IR'ed Bodden, Barrett, Lockett, Richard and released Terrance Johnson.
