Are you sure because according to espn.com he was one of the cuts to get us to 75, a few days back.

The Boston Herald also reported him being cut on Aug. 31st.

Positive.

Terrence Johnson was the only player cut to get the Pats to 75. The other 4 were put on IR.

according to Price there have been 15 cuts in the past 2 days

Williingham cut per Rap.

and that is why i hate typing some days you don't notice the dumbass mistakes you make

All gone quiet in Foxboro.

With the roster exemption...7 cuts..I think 4 will be easy BUT I also expect this team's 53 of late today...to NOT be the 53 of next weekend,,,BB usually makes a few changes here there although NOT always...he also HAS gone into the first weekend at 52...BUT those were also in salary cap years..I expect changes of today's 53

The quiet before the big storm.

That's what it feels like to me.

Rapoport just tweeted that Brown, Farnham and Deaderick and haven't heard anything yet. No news = good news.

... or .. the Pats just put out the buffet spread for the assembled media ...

Hey -- looks like a nice day outside, by the way.

I just don't see what role Farnham would serve on the 53 at this point, although I could see him making the roster if injuries strike.

It Is What It Is

According to Price OL Simmons has signed with the Colonials of Hartford UFL.....

Farnham has less of a shot at making the 53 than I do.

Re: More cuts: Jenkins, Eric Alexander, Clayton...

I think the end of the Alexander era is a watershed historical event, well worth noting in it's own thread.

Many NFLers never made it to five years, which Alexander did (if you don't look too close).

Gayle Sayers made it to the hall with a not too dissimilar output.

Plus, I'm sure his pension will be of a size some of the greats of the game could only dream about.

My salute to Eric Alexander, for avoiding the Turk and forging an NFL career he can lie to his grandchildren about!

With all the offense weapons in the passing game...I can see a RB getting cut. Morris or Taylor...just a hunch

So how many cuts are left? Has Sergio brown survived?

Green-Ellis isn't going to be on the team tomorrow

Agreed.

He'd be the perfect Practice Squad player though.

WR, played Safety the other day, Returner, Special Teamer.

He's an athlete.

A year or two on the Practice Squad and who knows what he'll be

Re: More cuts: Jenkins, Eric Alexander, Clayton...

I also agree anyone should start a thread if they feel there is a noteworthy cut. Why should there be a rule I have to wade through twenty pages of people beeeotching about cuts of players who never had a chance, to find a noteworthy cut? Is this a federal form? No, it's a message board for the fans.
