I dunno. At the start of the 2020 season I figured they would be a playoff team and the NEP have a shot at being in the playoffs. TB continued to add to it over the season. Fournette, AB, etc.

I personally felt TB had a bunch of talent for TB12 to work with. Superteam? No.

I thought they'd be a playoff team too I will say this to Belichick defense even though I'm more of the player>coach side, if Belichick had this roster with Brady leading it they'd be millions times better. Bucs are super un disciplined and commit a lot of unforced turnovers

I think people have that opinion because of their skill position players. There are very few receiving corps in league history that match up to what they have.

Bill treats everyone like a rookie fighting for a parking spot. If Brady wanted favorable treatment because he's the GOAT, then he rightly needed to go somewhere else. Tampa is a crap organization that was desperate to win and would do anything to please Brady, including making Alex Guerrero a part of the team. As a manager, favorable treatment to one employee over another is never a good idea.

As a manager, you also need to know which employees are the rainmakers. The true steel. And which are bog standard rusting iron bars, ready to crumble any moment.

Yep and if you dug into the defensive numbers the D was passable. The run D wasn't that bad and the secondary was a concern but they drafted well and shored that unit up. Tom did his homework imo

What about the OL? There was concerns Tom would be killed going to a new OL. Bucs OL wasn't considered good by anyone. How did Tom get them to gel so fast?

Let's also look at it like this: I have never heard a Patriots player say they had any problem with Tom Brady. Whatever he does with his goofy brand is what he does. But when it comes to his commitment, work ethic, etc. how many former teammates have ever said anything negative? None?
